Maresca ANNOUNCED as new Chelsea boss!

Enzo Maresca has jumped from Leicester City to become the new Chelsea boss ahead of the 2024/25 season. Here is my take on how he'll do and what this means for both Chelsea and Leicester City, who now need to find themselves a new manager!

These contracts are laughable. Surely a one year contract first to see how he gets on which can be extended if he does well. That way also saving owners money etc. Will certainly be interesting to see how Chelsea get on!

I doubt he will last until Xmas. Was not impressed with him given the squad and resources at his disposal at Leicester. Not a fan of his style of football which was third rate pep.

Chelsea only want that link to Manchester City .its crazy idea to give untied manger in the premier league Leicester will end up with points being deducted so won't be surprised to see them in the bottom have of the table

I can't get my head round this. One year of experience and no prem experience, and that warrants a 5 year contract? Also Leicester might struggle to attract a manager this year if they have a transfer ban...
