Another thing with Thief's viability drastically going down is the fact that Nightwatch was released and he counters Thief's ability to realistically kite. And then Opera Singer got released and despite the fact that he can force her out of shadow realm, she is just way too quick for him to do that. Which makes me sad as a Thief main because both of them counter him and I can't do too much against them. AND NOW, WE HAVE IVY AND IT'S EVEN WORSE BECAUSE SHE COMPLETELY COUNTERS HIS FLASHLIGHT. It truly has become a sad downfall for Thief.
i just recently returned to idv after a 3 year break and was so shocked to see how unpopular mech has become… i remember when she used to be considered meta by many 💔💔💔
coordinator is lowkey s tier for a while in tourneys she has one of the highest pick rates which gets extremely high specifically among the best teams. her ability to give a very easy to execute dmg proof rebound straight off chair is better than forward and is the key to saving bad games and making tie games into win games and making wins to 4 escapes. every powerhouse team wants to bring coord everywhere just because of hard it is to brute force and get a rebound late in game against certain hunters and their players and how easy coord can make it.
Not to mention that there is not even an "Average" or "Bad" tier. Literally every survivor is strong enough to get at least a tie with them even if you play average. Meanwhile for hunters there are around 5 viable hunters and all of them can be countered by at least half of the survivors (Ivy is almost always banned so she basically does not even exist outside of duo and qm). It is ridiculous
My issue with Embalmer is that he is strong as long as he is not first chase, which in this meta happens a lot. There isn't much to do when the hunter knows where you are and is very committed to you and your character is basically not built for kiting. I am struggling a lot, especially now that Ivy has come and Sangria is more likely to make her entrance.

I would argue Aeroplanist is S tier because of how versatile he is in terms of positioning. Aeroplanist is a lot like Mercenary, he can afford to put himself in risky spots (like staying on standby for an end game rescue) because he has an instant correction tool. He can't really use the jetpack to make distance unless he uses the hover ability, but he can reposition himself quickly. Travelling just far enough to get to a kiting area that's workable. So you can put him anywhere on the map and he has the ability to just stay alive in that area when most would run a huge risk.
Just one correction: The Wildling still has a 60 second cooldown after the boar take 2 hits, the 30 seconds are in case he waits until the time limit without manually leaving the boar. Sorry for the bad english qwq

Idk about patient, I agree he gains distance and all but after 3 hooks he’s literally a character that can’t do much unlike other characters. Look at Coord, she still have fast pallet drop and can kite if she has knee jerk

What makes Psychologist placed that high besides her utility ? She has nothing to use when kiting besides 3 lives & raw kite how is she considerable as strong kiter ?/gen
-she hard counters lot of hunters that have slow dmg/item such as dw spider bq and is still decent to do 70-80% decode kite with blink against almost anyone and is the first answer to most hunters with hard to counter skills ( she was the best kiter against nw) -has a rebound mechanic in her dmg reduction coming after chair if you get down too fast (many important games won like this in tourneys) -most of all and the primary reason she is so popular is because she is the perfect sponge to support, given her 3 hits combined with assist items like portals catapaults slow boxes and harrasser support she is much harder to keep up with and can transition safely to their area than them coming because of her 3 hits = 3 speedboost and being not dead at blink or having taken out blink for even more confident and hard to counter support. look up the zq vs ys 2nd round 2nd half recently to understand this value.

Also has pseudo rescue potential for that reason

I would argue Aeroplanist is S tier because of how versatile he is in terms of positioning.
