    It begs the question why they ins5alled only one bell and hung for change ringing.
    It needs 7 lighter friends to make a lovely 8.

      The old ring of 12 was destroyed, the current bell was cast to be the 10th of a new ring of 12 that was never finished

      @@RingerPeter My dad was a bell hanger for Whitechapel in the 60s, I remember him going there once to do some maintenance on it.
      Sad to thing the 12 never came about.
