    A lot of the ghoti cards lock you into using fish or water synchros I believe? I’m going off memory so I could be wrong

      Their quick effects to summon yeah, but not if you’re just generically synchro climbing on your first turn with say runick, earthbound, white forest, etc

      Paces, shif, and zep have the effect to quick effect synchro summon a fish monster. No locks exist within the ghoti archetype. Sometimes we use engines like supay and shs to synchro 6 without using our normal summon. The synchro 6, arionpos, is the number one inperm target of the deck. It also brings out psiics which is the number 1 ash target of the deck. If you are stopped at this point, you can still normal a tuner and make the synchro 8 he shows in the video.
      His second point is about the hand trap we sometimes play, hop ear squadron. Hop ear can target a monster on your field and quick effect synchro. Used to be good to summon accel which can revive a stuck paces and board wipe if your arionpos got inperm'd after making it with paces.
