I want people to pay for more. It allows Niantic to want to keep the game running and continue to improve it. But I agree the storage needs to be fixed, even if it is done like pokemon and item space (which I would not like but better than nothing)

I honestly have zero complaints about the DAILY limit, but I think the OVERALL limit should be at LEAST tripled, so it's POSSIBLE to max out dynamax moves, as well as to store up extra particles, if you don't feel like catching the all dynamax pokemon CURRENTLY available in your area, for that day.
You can only earn 800 per day, not 1000 Max storage is 1000 (you can technically go over if you collect your daily 300 bundle or buying more) ALSO, Niantic has already confirmed that future raids that are higher tier will have a more expensive entry cost for max particles

My brother in Arceus, if you think this isn’t another niantic scheme to sell more stuff, you’ve been hit with a simple beam. That being said, I don’t blame anyone else for spending money on this and as much as I hope I won’t, I probably will someday too - I have to say, it’s a kinda fun mechanic to have the locations shift each day!
I don’t mind it for now. I’ve been struggling to get Charmanders, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur. In fact, I don’t have Charizard or the third evolution for Bulbasaur in my Pokédex, lol. The Pokémon that you are able to catch once you defeat them are usually fairly strong with 3-star IVs.
Again, it is a feature that is not rural or small town friendly. Traveled through several small towns that had 1 power spot. Niantic need to get a better database of businesses.
Yeah it shows the dynamax sign, but they are only normal pokemons. I ever only had those on the Beldum maxraids. And the last week, there weren't any at all anymore. @@sekcbeast6713
Good for candy. Newer players will not have much candy for the Gen 1 starters. Remember to trade them for the extra candy bonus (distance trade will give 4 candies)
I think they did the 1000 max max particles because of 2 reasons; 1: otherwise it will be too fast and people will get bored 2: because of the money they will earn in the shop(probably the real reason)😂
I'm worried about the 3 and 5 tiers and Gigantamax.... I don't mind the limit on the MP or need to buy it if you want more... But getting and maxing the moves costs not only the MP but candy as well... I don't have that many candy with neither of my Mons or only few and I can imagine they will introduce some new Mons only like Gigantamax and with them there won't be any candy. 🙈 And also with the higher tiers and Giga, I worry I won't by able to do them myself since these are local.... 😢😢
I feel like the best way to look at it (at least right now) is these pokemon don't do anything to help you in the game. Treat these battles as a "mini game" just like pvp battles essentially. That's what I'm doing at least 😂
Everyone keeps mentioning Power Spots move around but ever since they first started showing up, the supermarket has been the one and only Power Spot in my neighborhood. It has not moved or disappeared and no more power spots have appeared nearby.
The max particles that you can earn in on day is 1020 not 800 because you can collect 120 from 6 different power stations in one day which is 720 and then click on the 300 daily bonus because you haven’t hit the 800 cap and it adds up to 1020. Edit you can also do 4 stops and then claim 2 walk daily bonus and get 1080 everyday
I've actually only gotten 100MP from certain power spots. Not all spots give 120. So yes your math is correct but also possible to go to 4 spots = 480 and then 3 spots to get 300.. = 780 then hit the claim 300 from your 2km walk. Which also equals 1080MP
@@ZtRedPoGoPhx you get 120MP when its your first time claiming from that spot (can claim max once per day). If you claim from the same spot again the next day, you will get 100MP

Just wanted to make sure that info was clearly stated as the research task has you collect from 10 power stops... that way people can go to 5 or 6 spots and still maximize their MP limit. Do you know the timer on the spots? I just went to a spot I collected from yesterday and got 120 again today...

The next day, you could go to a Power Spot get 120MP = 960MP then claim the 300MP = 1260MP. However the better strategy would be at 960MP go to a P. Stop = 1080MP. Use some of that MP... spin 5 more spots = 600MP + the 120MP from before then claiming the 300MP from the 2km walk. Sorry lots of numbers... but the 800MP per day is what is causing the issue
In my opinion, max raids are more fun than normal raids. Also, I think the pokemon doesn't have to be caught from a max raid. I think that if you catch a pokemon as a dynamax, you will be able to dynamax it, but it's just what I think.
I’m having a candy issue. I just built a venasaur last event day for it and used up most of my candies. We just had a research for wooloo where one of the tasks for example was evolve a dubwool. Then the dynamax upgrades need candies too. This is gonna be a super long grind
Something interesting, if you have a pokemon that can dynamax, and it’s in your inventory right next to a GALAR starter, dynamax it and then quickly un dynamax it and switch to the GALAR starter and it will be dynamax
A quick tip. When the dynamax animation starts you can switch your Pokémon. This might be useful for higher end raids making the heal option less useful and allowing all players to keep attacking.
It's not actually 1400MP to max out a move... it's going from level 1 to 3. Which is 600 + 800 = 1400MP. So you just have to decide to level up a move once... then wait a day or level up a move, go collect your 800 and then level it up to its max. Basically you have to choose each day to battle or use MP to level up a Dynamax pokemons moves
So couple things, 1. Cost for upgrading moves is absolutely crazy to me. A total of 400 candies and 120XL candies to max out your moves. 2. The rewards so far have just been XP, revives and 1 XL Candy for the pokemon you just beat. There has been a small drop chance of a rare candy. I think I got two out of the 5 battles I did. 3. While the candy cost is absurd, it does make sense to leave 20 dynamax pokemon at stops because as it’s there to help other people battle with the boosts, it counts as a battle on your pokemon which in turn does get you candy. So if you’re the first of the day at 20 stops, and 19 other people (or technically more even) battle at each stop and all win, I believe you’ll rack up candy like crazy? That mechanic makes more sense in my opinion. XL candy though, idk. Haven’t gotten one from ones I left at stops yet
Caught a Bulbasaur today that had Decent IV’s, I already have a mega Venusaur so I get to have a dynamax one too when I level it. Venusaur is my favorite Kanto starter
Add one: all your Pokémon participating in the max raid have to be able to dynamax/gigantamax. Also I soloed one using two level ten wooloo. Don’t worry about not being able to do it.
the whole not using raid pass on normal raid is already kinda a thing tho, if you fail and lose you and go back into that raid for free til you beat it
So small towns and rural areas are once again just screwed. Elite raids did the same thing. Exclusive pokemon for people in bigger towns where people actually meet up. 1 star and 3 stars are ok and fine but 5 stars or legendary are no goes. Thanks Niantic
@MAKICURSETOOLUSER yeah I try to get at least 1 for every evolution in a pokemon line and so far have succeeded including without realizing it I have the full shiny Skwovet family I didn't find out until today when I was going through my pokemon I had the full shiny Skwovet family just need to evolve 1 but right now I'm investing in getting Dynamax moves unlocked
4 power spot follow with 2 times 2km. New power spot 1st time tap gives 120. So highest can get in a day is 4x120 + 300 + 300 = 1080 Lowest assume all power spot are not new 4x100 + 300 + 300 = 1000
They should show your dynamax pokemon dynamaxed in your inventory/ when viewing them. Then if you use them in battle league/ gym raids they just look normal (would look 10xs better).
It's definitely going to be p2w, but there are decent advantages, the one star raids are super easy and net 10k exp per battle. Can do 4 a day just by in-game grinding, if you run a lucky egg that's an easy 80k exp daily for about 10-15 minutes effort, can double it again if you pay for the extra rewards...but 200 coins for that seems a bit silly. It seems like the higher tiers are going to be huge for rare candy/candy xl's. Guaranteed XL candies as well in rewards. Don't just dynamax level up any random pokemon as well.
Dynamax was generally implemented well, but what sucks is that Dynamax is pretty useless beyond unlocking all 3 moves. I spent so much MP upgrading dubwool, and then one shot the Charmander with the basic punch move. My advice is to use all your MP towards going into battles, at least until Beldum provides what should hopefully be a slight challenge
These are better than raids in my opinion. You can collect enough to do 4 of these battles per day. if you are playing for free you have to collect coin over 4 days before you can buy 1 raid pass. Which means in 4 days you are getting 5 raids for free, as opposed to your 16 dynamax battles. huge difference.
11:20 1-2 days ago while i was getting some max particals i randomly got a dynamax wooloo encounter (wasnt my research task one) maybe thats what it was Either way i somehow got 2 dynamax woolos my second one was better but i already upgraded the first one
Imagine that you could fight an unlimited amount of raids, after you beat it (maybe instead of being able to see whether it’s a hundo or not) you use your raid pass to access balls. If this were the case you could fight with friends to beat raids even without a raid pass.
Should also mention that if you leave a pokemon at a power spot, it takes up one of your potential gym slots, so you can have 20 power spots if you don’t care about gyms. But in case that you do, i’d thought i’d just state the facts.
Raids are annoying because if the timer runs out on the raid being there and something happens like the game crashes which always tends to happen for me in this situation, then it doesn't let you rejoin to catch the pokemon
Crazy they charging for MP so quickly. I knew this was another money pit. Really don’t care about this addition at all. I’ll save my money for remote raid passes

I wouldn’t waste money on particles, if you buy the 2800 you cannot collect any more for three days. You have a limit of 1000. Unless you intend to raid over and over it’s pointless you wasting money. PS, the spots don’t necessarily move, the time as we run out multiple times on mine and they’re still in the same location
They should honestly introduce dropping bottle caps from the max raids that lets you increase a single stat by just 1 point. This will allow us to make use of our 98s and turn it into hundos or for other PVP purposes. At this point there's no reason to really do dynamax raids...

It doesn’t make sense to have a max of 1000 particles but only can get 800mp a day. Then it cost like 250mp to do a raid so it’s like 3 raids a day pretty much. It’s a cool concept but it’s extremely limited.

The whole 200 coins to upgrade rewards pisses me off. Niantic is somehow getting even more greedy. 2 bucks for ONE Rare candy is absolutely disgusting.
only point i would buy those extra 10 balls and other perks for 200 coins, would be if i did some extremely good raid boss like Kyogre or Groudon, and as it was dying off i were to notice that the cp stopped at 2351 which is their hundo. i mean i would rather double my balls at that point from 22-24 to 44-48 balls, even if i had no way of knowing beforehand if it was shiny and thus would be basically 100% catch rate encounter. i would rather spend those coins than potentially face the spot of "do i risk the last ball on a hundo, or do i use one of my masterballs. but with these Dynamax raids, at least as they are now at their lowest tier. i would never do that, because only worthwhile boost would be the doubling their price xp from 10 000 to 20 000. but then again you can just buy or even earn free lucky eggs that last 30 minutes at a time, so you could get multiple of that boost. maybe when the higher tiers come out and those encounters get harder, maybe then i could see myself maybe getting that double price pack.

can you mega evolve a dynamax pokemon? An example is you catch a dynamax charmander and you evolve it up until it becomes a charizard, can it be used for both? if yes thats fire cuz one pokemon can be used for 2 things.
It would be cool man. 2 for 1 man I wouldn’t need 2 lvl 50 charizard. And Ash does it in the galar region kind of he uses z moves on pikachu and dynamaxes pikachu as well
This max raid should never be pay to win to be honest. For example , it does not matter if you raid in 1star / 3 star / 4star / 5star raid it only takes one raid pass , so in max raid s also it should always take 250 energies. This is the most relevant logic related to any kinds of raids. With updates Niantic should decrease the amount of max energy needed to join a max battle. But making this feature a pay to win will be devastating for the game itself.
Can dynamax be used outside of raid battles, or has it just been added as pretty much a seperate aspect of the game? (It’s cool but I’d love to use dynamax against hard raid bosses)
It will probably follow the main series pokemon games which were Sword and Shield Dynamax only works in raids I'm not counting the gyms since in pokemon go we only have power spots

Collect DP on 6 Spots a days (720 DP total) and AFTER that you collect your 300 DP from walking and you have 1020 DP per Day👍

A lucky does not help with dynamax. No reduced cost for max particles or candy for upgrading moves.

Find four Power Spots and claim two 2km rewards
This will net you 1,080 MP in a day

To get a little bit more than 800 max particles, get 120 from a power station and then walk 6km, this will give you 1020 max particles instead of 900
So small towns and rural areas are once again just screwed. Elite raids did the same thing. Exclusive pokemon for people in bigger towns where people actually meet up. 1 star and 3 stars are ok and fine but 5 stars or legendary are no goes. Thanks Niantic

They should show your dynamax pokemon dynamaxed in your inventory/ when viewing them. Then if you use them in battle league/ gym raids they just look normal (would look 10xs better).
It's definitely going to be p2w, but there are decent advantages, the one star raids are super easy and net 10k exp per battle. Can do 4 a day just by in-game grinding, if you run a lucky egg that's an easy 80k exp daily for about 10-15 minutes effort, can double it again if you pay for the extra rewards...but 200 coins for that seems a bit silly.
It seems like the higher tiers are going to be huge for rare candy/candy xl's. Guaranteed XL candies as well in rewards. Don't just dynamax level up any random pokemon as well.
Dynamax was generally implemented well, but what sucks is that Dynamax is pretty useless beyond unlocking all 3 moves. I spent so much MP upgrading dubwool, and then one shot the Charmander with the basic punch move.
My advice is to use all your MP towards going into battles, at least until Beldum provides what should hopefully be a slight challenge
You can collect 120 particles from unique power spots if you collect from one you can collect from it again, but you only get 100
These are better than raids in my opinion. You can collect enough to do 4 of these battles per day. if you are playing for free you have to collect coin over 4 days before you can buy 1 raid pass. Which means in 4 days you are getting 5 raids for free, as opposed to your 16 dynamax battles. huge difference.
11:20 1-2 days ago while i was getting some max particals i randomly got a dynamax wooloo encounter (wasnt my research task one) maybe thats what it was
Either way i somehow got 2 dynamax woolos my second one was better but i already upgraded the first one

Imagine that you could fight an unlimited amount of raids, after you beat it (maybe instead of being able to see whether it’s a hundo or not) you use your raid pass to access balls.
If this were the case you could fight with friends to beat raids even without a raid pass.

its nice that you can earn candy from them, i have earned a lot of charmander candy because i placed 5 in raids and the can give up to 5 candy each

as of now one of my pokémon’s that i left in a max gym has only gotten 5 candies 5 hours in, i think that’s the maximum you can get per pokemon 10:03
Should also mention that if you leave a pokemon at a power spot, it takes up one of your potential gym slots, so you can have 20 power spots if you don’t care about gyms.
But in case that you do, i’d thought i’d just state the facts.
They should add the feature of when you defeat the raid you can leave a Pokémon behind to help in the next raid battle
Raids are annoying because if the timer runs out on the raid being there and something happens like the game crashes which always tends to happen for me in this situation, then it doesn't let you rejoin to catch the pokemon

I wouldn’t waste money on particles, if you buy the 2800 you cannot collect any more for three days. You have a limit of 1000. Unless you intend to raid over and over it’s pointless you wasting money. PS, the spots don’t necessarily move, the time as we run out multiple times on mine and they’re still in the same location

They should honestly introduce dropping bottle caps from the max raids that lets you increase a single stat by just 1 point. This will allow us to make use of our 98s and turn it into hundos or for other PVP purposes. At this point there's no reason to really do dynamax raids...

It doesn’t make sense to have a max of 1000 particles but only can get 800mp a day. Then it cost like 250mp to do a raid so it’s like 3 raids a day pretty much. It’s a cool concept but it’s extremely limited.
no not everybody can do it because to do it as u mentioned u need to complete the ques to complete the quest i need a power spot to appear which hasn't been the case since the launch of power spots

It should be a pokemon that's AI and joins in and helps. JUST LIKE the main series games how if you enter ALONE, it fills the other 3 spots with NPC mons.

The max spots around me have not moved at all. They've been in the same locations since populating in the game.

only point i would buy those extra 10 balls and other perks for 200 coins, would be if i did some extremely good raid boss like Kyogre or Groudon, and as it was dying off i were to notice that the cp stopped at 2351 which is their hundo.
i mean i would rather double my balls at that point from 22-24 to 44-48 balls, even if i had no way of knowing beforehand if it was shiny and thus would be basically 100% catch rate encounter.
i would rather spend those coins than potentially face the spot of "do i risk the last ball on a hundo, or do i use one of my masterballs.
but with these Dynamax raids, at least as they are now at their lowest tier. i would never do that, because only worthwhile boost would be the doubling their price xp from 10 000 to 20 000.
but then again you can just buy or even earn free lucky eggs that last 30 minutes at a time, so you could get multiple of that boost.
maybe when the higher tiers come out and those encounters get harder, maybe then i could see myself maybe getting that double price pack.

can you mega evolve a dynamax pokemon? An example is you catch a dynamax charmander and you evolve it up until it becomes a charizard, can it be used for both? if yes thats fire cuz one pokemon can be used for 2 things.

This max raid should never be pay to win to be honest. For example , it does not matter if you raid in 1star / 3 star / 4star / 5star raid it only takes one raid pass , so in max raid s also it should always take 250 energies. This is the most relevant logic related to any kinds of raids. With updates Niantic should decrease the amount of max energy needed to join a max battle. But making this feature a pay to win will be devastating for the game itself.
This entire feature is just Niantic ripping the Ogerpon mask off and shouting "YEAH, WE'RE GREEDY! BUY OUR MAX PARTICLES OR 800 A DAY IT IS!"

It will probably follow the main series pokemon games which were Sword and Shield Dynamax only works in raids I'm not counting the gyms since in pokemon go we only have power spots
