“I love my city it’s a beautiful city but it’s a lot of hatred” man growin up in Chicago ain’t for the weak I’ve lost 20+ friends and family members all from gun violence in the city. Glad Ayo made it out🤞🏾
They need to add facial expressions on UA-cam like Facebook. 20+ friends and family. Have mercy, that's terrible. I love my city too. This stupid shit has to stop. 😪
Yet so many make it a trend blickin people down or defining a nations language like other kids being OPPS, like their in military out here in streets. Fonem, folksnem, fivenem it’s sad and now UA-cam paying & promoting them
He a future role player, solid starter but he doesn't have Stat All Star type potential but he has potential to be.m a starter on a very good team for a decade
I tell anyone that listens - when I see Ayo, I see myself. Nigerian born, Chicago raised, EMPEHI and IllIni alum! I'm just 2 decades older 😂 Good luck brother! #seeRed
Damn! Big respect to Ayo! He's had some ups-and-downs in his Rookie year, but I just see a lot of potential with the main man. Two-way player in the future. He got some Jrue Holiday game.
I never thought of this comparison, cause in college he wasn't as much of a Two-Way player. So I was surprised to see how well he was able to lock up dudes in the pros. He has a bright future. I'm probably incredibly biased, as I'm an Illini fan and a Bulls fan. But I'm so glad he fell in the draft, for selfish reasons lol.
@@TheBuddha337 in college he didn't play defense at all but that's because he was not asked and it was not needed when he had Trent Frazier and Damonte Williams in backcourt with him
He easy to root for and his draft class was viewed as Weak and I never thought that..look at Herbert Jones Bones Hyland(another great story) heck Even Luka Garza went at end of draft and he going be a rotation player for a long time in NBA
Ayo deserves everything coming his way. He’s gonna be an amazing player and he’s gonna show that he was worth way more than being a 2nd round pick. So thankful to have a humble hometown guy on our team 👏🏼
I know such things sadly don't happen very often nowadays, but I hope Ayo will stay with the Bulls for his entire playing career. It's so easy to root for this guy.
This story made me tear up, and Im 36. Im very happy and proud Ayo is up there and living his NBA dream and in his home town. Many stars lost their lifes to bullets and it was just a "what would it have been....?" Growing up in Chicago isnt a joke when your colored or Latino. We all love him very much Ayo! Your a strong man, and a beast on court! Hope to take a picture with him one day! Shout outs from Gage Park, Chicago!
THAT ROSE THAT GREW FROM CONCRETE Did you hear about the rose that grew from a crack in the concrete? Proving nature's law is wrong it learned to walk with out having feet. Funny it seems, but by keeping its dreams, it learned to breathe fresh air. Long live the rose that grew from concrete when no one else ever cared. TuPac. We've lived these stories way too many times in our city. Lucky, we find heros who survive, overcome and succeed.
What an amazing story. Love the ending of this video too. Chi town stand up. Illini stand up. Wishing Ayo a long and prosperous career. Hopefully he can be a lifer.#seered
Nothing like Chicago it has it's good and bad prayers for all are people who lost love one's to gun violence it's a blessing when you make it out and it's a blessing being born 💯
Law enforcement here is terrible. They can stop the violence if they want to, they don't want to. My car recently got stolen in hyde park, in front of a target and a hotel and shit ton of other stores with surveillance cameras. Not one time did they reach out to get the footage or ask any questions. I literally had to find my car myself. City looks great but terrible to live in this mf.
I wonder if DeRozan will change his number next season so Ayo can have it. Before Dosunmu was drafted, DeRozan chose number 11 because his number, 10, is retired by the Bulls.
