Excellent video! I enjoyed the test taking strategies. I totally understand how frustrating nursing tests can be. I'm in the 3rd semester of an RN program and I just got my first C on a test. I was a little disappointed, but in the end we just need to pass. Good luck to you and keep us updated!
Boy you said it, "My knowldege from lecture is so much more than what my grade reflects." Sooo true and I feel the exact same way. I'm in my first semester and struggling somewhat with that. lol Also, these styles of questions are hard to get used to. I'm getting better though. Just made a video last night talking about this. lol Great video, Heather! Go get'em!
i totally feel you! however, like i said, passing still gets you to graduation and taking that NCLEX so that's all you can really hope for... though i know i'm a perfectionist and want those As!
I'm a CNA and I'm taking my TEAS exam next Monday and wanted to know if you could give me any advice on the math part. I'm horrible in math and probably will fail it, I have major anxiety and do not test well as it is. Any suggestions?
Love your videos! Would love to see how you organise your work e.g. folders, your planner, prioritizing tasks etc. And how you revise and take notes x

yes, you must take a math class as a pre-req and we do dosage calculations every semester that you must pass in order to complete the program
I agree @ Katelyn select all that apply questions are a killer.....
Is that your dog whining in the background? lol and great video!
great idea! do you mean notes for class or nurses notes?
hey heather, thanks so much for the helpful tips! when you had to dilute your protonix, did you put it in a 15 ml or 30 ml syringe? just curious! :)
Hi heather, thank you so much. Please do more am struggling 2 semester of LPN... I think you can help me through :)
Hyponatremic patients, you would restrict fluid intake because your fluid balance is directly related to your sodium concentration in your blood.
Awesome video
glad to help!
Do you have any tips for "select all that apply" nursing questions? They all killing me in my tests! Thanks - Katie
Very helpful!

I thought this video was great. Thank you. :0)
I dilute everything. Basically any drug has potential to be a vesicant.
one easy question.... was there any math involved in your entire study of nursing ?
neither, i used a 20 ml syringe as thats what we had in the lab :)
is there math involved in the study of nursing? hell yes. its called dosage calculations and iv drip rates and etc etc and they suck.
Awesome video
