What an excellent narration to the tuition shown! And so nice to be able to hear without music booming in the background. Thoroughly succinct and interesting, a pleasure to watch such a professional at work.
Dylan’s first day at his new school. He was very excited. We met some of the families on Saturday which was a success. The children wore games kit for the first day so Dylan very pleased about that. X
Loved every bit of it
Such a lovely style. I love the four strand braids. We are sadly lacking in stylists who can execute a genuine vintage style. Thank you
Thank you for this. Really pretty. I would like to see this done with period pin curls instead of the curling iron. Vintage hair styles last much much longer with pin curls. Yes they take more time, but it's worth it in the end.
This is the best finger wave tutorial I've come across on UA-cam, thank you for the video, really well done.
Good teachers must have a good voice and talk well! He is one of my favorites that does this! I find him so easy to learn from x
Absolutely gorgeous! Will be using this for our 42nd street production!
This is such beautiful work! Love the end result, so simple and elegant.
One of the prettiest looks I've seen and beautifully executed too
Just brilliant as usual, love it !
LOVED THIS!!! i think I'm totally going to try this at work! thanks for posting!
One of the best results I've seen on wave tutorials.
Beautiful, thank you for showing how to do this so it is possible to try ourselves. A real good demonstration for the viewer, thank you x
Patrick Cameron is a genius of hair styling! X
Gorgeous! I've got long hair but love 1930s style. This is perfect
Fabulous! So beautiful, I can't wait to try this on myself :)
I love this! It's a beautiful style! 😀👏👌👏👏👏👏💕
Lovely work,I enjoyed your tutorial, she looks beautiful.
Absolutely brilliant! Great tutorial!!!
Thank you for the video and imparting your knowledge. It was very well done and you were so clear and easy to listen to. Have a wonderful day! xx
Beyond stunning!
Very pretty! I wish you had been my Cosmetology Instructor back in 1973. She was a hard one to please. We used that
slimy hair set and it was drilled in our heads to make that extreme 'C' before putting the clips in. I like your method much better!
That's how I was taught in school too. This looks much easier.
I suppose it's slick but the hair stays for days right? With more products!
He doesn't regard her not even once. Beautiful hair style. She is stunning!
Incredible!
Stunning! You explained that so well ( I'm not a hairdresser) just ordered my clips on Amazon xxx
Very good teacher offering step by steps!!!!
amazing Patrick
beautiful and classy
Perfection at its Finest❤😇
Gorgeous hair! Beautiful job
beautifully explained.
thank you
Gorgeous!
love love love it thanks patrick
Oh the model is so "excited"! 😂
Niiiice!! Those hair clips are amazing!
Stunning.
Beautiful!
I need those clips in my life! Great tutorial!
I'd like to see it done with pincurls too - but even with the curling iron it's lovely and authentic-looking, and you don't need short hair to do it. I'm always looking at old movies trying to figure out the rolls at the nape and these braids are even better.
what a nice clean detailed tutorial :)
MOST BEAUTIFUL UP DO EVER
Fabulous!
Gorgeous 😍👍👏🏼
Exquisite hair design.
It's great that your showing a quick way to do the wave. Yet I need those clips!
Also owns surprised you fist use more products to slick or pomade. I dont think it will stay as long.
1920-1930
Styles are coming back as swing dancing is too!
I love how this video don't have annoying background music. The hairstyle is beautiful too and more detailed explanation than self attempt videos I found here on UA-cam. I guess they were copying this video.
Hi there Patrick, from one Cameron to another, I was also trained in hairdressing. Love your vids.
Exquisite!
love it!
I need that hair brush and clips 😌
Pretty hairstyle :) 💆🏻
You love what you do. Beautiful

👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼wonderful❤
Great
I got to see Cameron in action at his long awaited seminar in 2001.
I had already been first taught in my first hairdressing job by a 1960s trophy winning hair up stylist. Eric Jon taught me well in my first job did a few more salon then got to Harpers in Kidderminster which is predominantly a barbers.(this is where they paid for me and another girl working there to go to Birmingham and learn your skills.
I ran that ladies section so well, even doing after hours on Sundays for weddings.
Bride, bridesmaids and anything else I could get my hands on!
Julian the hairdresser has to be gay yeah?
Nah, I’ve always loved my curves 😍
I was diagnosed with MS at 26 which completely threw my applecart!
I did my last hairdo in 2007.
I used to love hairdressing ♥️
Put the scissors down 😫
Lindo ese trabajo 👒
The haistylist is beautiful
great
buen recogido.
Exellent
Magic, didn't know long hair can have finger wave too. thank you.
I love the little brush that you're using, what is it called?
great :D
Wow👌
I cut my hair 3 inches and been styling in 1920-1940 all week. I have decision to cut more but if I, me, I could actually style it longer I may keep it longer. Yet hair has like-muscle memory so if I keep curling it and wave ,finger wave it will stay that way more for years.
Humm the hair should be atleast shoulder length.
Hi, i'm from Brazil! I love this hairstyle and would like to know where could I buy the section clips he used to create the waves, online.
Try ETSY or Amazon
@@denisegore1884 Thank you!!! I'll look!!!
@@AnaVieiraDC They both have wave clips so you should find section clips too.
@@denisegore1884 Thank you, Denise! You're so kind! Have a happy new year!
@@AnaVieiraDC Happy New Year and Many Happy Hair Days.
Where did you use the heater and where did you use fingers? Does it matter? How long do you have to have have the hair grips in?
Wow
okay now I have a question if I may. You used a curling iron and curled it but then brushed it out and set the flapper waves. It seems to me that you almost didnt have to do the curling iron because I dont see how that helped the look as you had to set the flapper waves. hmmmmm. Im learning and everyones hair is a different texture. Ill have to think about this and try it both ways. Thank you
What is the name of the clips you were using for the fingerwave to pull the hair up ???
this looks very difficult! D:
johnny bravo
5:59 - lolol , he looks like he wants to kill her and she is like whispering with her face "help me..."
Can you style a black person's hair that way, if they are natural?
Excellent tutorial! I think it would have been nice to actually see the hat and/or other hair accessories...many don't even know what type of hat or how to wear it. Thanx for wonderful explanation and step by step clarity.
It was driving me crazy that you kept brushing it strait and so much, sorry just me; I have curly hair. Ha ha.
SO Rough! Spraying straight into a models eyes🙈
how cute. stewie is all grown up now
Praise Jesus!!!!!
I wonder how women did their own hair back then… I wonder what techniques they used?
This art is not lost its just not really done anymore
Oh wow, your "conical wand"? I assumed by the name of this video that the technique that was used in the 1920/1930 would be shown. I'm dissapointed😲
I figure that he would do it the old fashioned way like you said, by washing her hair, fingerwaving with gel and pincurls.
@@christopherluvsaidan67 where would one buy "gel" in the 1920's, pray tell?
@@laurenthomas3306 people used waving lotion back then not gel. I forgot that and mainly people got their hair did at the salon. If they could afford it .
@@laurenthomas3306 and if your gonna try and give me a snotty question at least spell right.. Prey tell?? Smh its Please tell ??
@@christopherluvsaidan67 (idiomatic, usually sarcastic) Expressing incredulity, please explain (some claim or position the speaker doubts). But how, pray tell, do you "notice" something that happens when you're asleep?

But... this isn't even remotely 1930s... it's a relatively accurate costume version of mid-late 1920s style.
That wave could’ve been better if he would’ve just let the curl sit and also not use a curling wand but a marcel iron to evenly distribute heat and keep things more clean
The finger wave was actually created in the 1910s and 1920s
Damn she's thin.
beautiful :) but that's a man
i thought she was a manican head in the beginning lol
Clickbait. Thought you was going to show us how to naturally wave her hair. Not use thermal tools to cheat. Thumbs down 😔.
Danny the red girl bye. He never said he was going to do a wet set
