They don't tell you the most important part, a drum is photosensive, you can't expose the cylinder to light really long otherwise you will have problem of printing quality.
I used cotton swabs/q-tips and just got the stuck spots. If they were really stubborn I moistened it with 90% rubbing alcohol to remove the spot then used the dry end to dry the area.
Yes tissues are better than cloth unless you're using a very fine, soft cloth with no fibre release. Same goes for tissues, you want soft with no fibres being left behind. A tissue soaked with isopropyl alcohol is the best. Cleaning the entire drum, surround and scraping arm will improve your prints. Use very light pressure, handing the drum with washed hands (hot water and soap) is fine. I'm going to try the comment above advice, coffee filters do seem like the best media. PS, a tissue is also really good for cleaning lcd screens.
You might make scratches on it, and the oils naturally present in your skin will be absorbed by the roller and interfere with the transfer process, causing light prints and can lead to some printing problems.

Glad it helped!
Surely you have to rotate the drum, otherwise you're just cleaning one section. Still, I see what you're getting at.
You are correct, we're happy that this video helped!
And what if the drum doesn't turn by hand? Is there a release button hidden in there somewhere?
I just turned it like 30 times and wiping it, It dident turn out to well
