I wish doctors would talk about food and HS. Food triggers are so unique to everyone but food affects everything especially disease. these are the studies we need aside from the next biologic
You’re absolutely right, food and its connection to HS deserve more attention. While triggers can vary greatly from person to person, the role of diet in managing inflammation and overall health is undeniable. It would be amazing to see more research focused on how nutrition impacts HS and how individualized approaches could help patients. Biologics are important for many people, but understanding lifestyle factors, like food, could empower patients to take a more holistic approach to managing their condition in conjunction with taking a biologic. Your perspective highlights such an important area that deserves further exploration. 💛
We're going into our first appointment hopefully they can figure something out for my wife I've been researching this for months she's at stage 3 I can tell and this is definitely life altering i tear up cleaning it for her cause Noone should have to deal with this especially my beautiful wife pray for us ❤❤❤ she's so strong for dealing with this for 4 to 5 years
Hi nice to hear that ,i have a question if someone has flap surgery or graft surgery then its mean you are putting same sweat and apocrine gland on the same position and there are more chances of getting recurrence ,is it ?
If i have hidradenitis suppurativa in armpit... doctor recommended me surgery....is there any chance its might appear in in other part of body...plzzz answer plzz
This is a great question! While it’s possible for HS to appear in other areas of the body, not everyone experiences this, it varies from patient to patient. Early intervention can be beneficial and may help manage symptoms, though outcomes can differ for each individual.

Amen! SOY, nightshades, and caffeine seem to be triggers for me, in addition to the "standard" triggers of sugar and refined carbs.
