Jubis caca pain is pain and everyone has different stories to tell, it shouldn’t be compared. why do we need to compare pain? everyone has their problems.
Hullo There there are people who have different problems, yet it doesn’t mean yours or other people’s pain is not valid. I come from an abusive family for example, are you going to turn to a person and say their experience is less worse than his? You don’t how it feels like to have this or that kind of pain, and just as I imagine how horrible it must have been to be in a concentration camp and totally validate it as I realize also that many people are slowly forgetting about the evil that unfolded at the hands of nazi Germany. But on an equal note, why must we pit each other’s pain against one another to see whose struggles are worse? Many things can easily traumatize you and leave a scar behind. Don’t invalidate others’ experiences because you have no idea what they went through and what internal battle they’re still fighting.

I love this man. Months ago, I had the honor of interviewing holocaust survivors at an art exhibition. One stood out in partitcular, a woman named kitty. With very little prompting, she told me about how she had known the woman that I had drawn, and sold her a few paintings when she ran an art gallery with her husband. One of the things she said really stood out to me though. In her official picture on whatever website the pictures came from, kitty said that the photographer wouldn't let her smile. I explained that that was the reason I had drawn the woman I had- she had this tiny, almost mischievous smile, separating her from the rest. We both agreed it made her seem even stronger, after surviving Auschwitz. I asked kitty if she liked her picture, and she said no, it simply wasn't her. The person that she was was always smiling, seeing the positive on things, so to see herself expressionless made her very sad. In the end, I offered to take her picture, just with my phone, and ask my schools art teacher to print that one out instead. Her reaction when I asked if she was okay with that almost brought me to tears. She stood there, stunned, and soon replied enthusiastically. To this day I still get really emotional when I think of that night. I still have kitty's picture saved to my phone. That was really long but idk why I felt like it needed to be shared.
ivan jara, Go search “Bo Burnham” in the UA-cam search bar, you’ll be surprised that even the most messed up topics can be made into jokes or comedy in general.
I'm crying right now. This man has such an emotional story to tell and I can't express how it makes me feel in words so water pours from my eyes instead. I am so glad he survived because this man made me realise how lucky I really am. My great great great grandparents and their family were Jewish and came over to Spain where they had to convert to Catholism. If they decided to go a few hundred miles up north, they would be in Germany, where they would have suffered. I don't know when they came to Spain, but I am so grateful and this man has made me realise this. To the people who are racist and can only hate this man, I feel sorry for you because the pain he went through was heartbreaking and I don't understand how any human can hate him. Only just now have my tears dried and now if I just hear his voice I will cry again, so unfortunately I won't watch this for a long time. I want to thank buzz feed for collaborating with this truly amazing man.
Lydia Big Nose it’s hard to begin a family from scratch with your whole family murdered it’s hard enough losing one member of your family imagine everyone in your family
If you found this video somehow educative and/or have respect for this elderly person I recommend you do NOT scroll through these comments. Maybe you are looking for someone with the same opinion, maybe for someone who actually has respect for victims of such terrible event as is holocaust. That's why I'm warning you: You will not find people like this here. Instead you'll find bunch of trolls and ungrateful little kids who do not know how to be proud and at least have some sense of shame. Subjects like holocaust are a serious matter, not some kind of comedy which you can make fun of. Millions of innocent people died without any actual reason. It's obviously something you shouldn't make fun of. Yet you'll still find attention whores and little kids who can't comprehend meaning of word "death" or "serious". THAT'S WHY NO MATTER WHAT, DON'T SCROLL THROUGH THESE CANCEROUS COMMENTS AND DON'T LET THEM RUIN YOUR DAY. Just be happy that you heard an interesting story from the most scariest point of view and that you'll know how to value others from now on. You never know what the other person is/was going through in their life.
the real beauty is from within, the struggles of life often cause wear and tear to the skin but only enhances the inner beauty, the strength of character, the depth of the soul, the spirit of determination, and a heart of gold.
I am devastated that this kind of torture had to occur, I am Polish and when he sang the song in Polish I started crying. This is such a hard thing to take in, millions of people died, many also in Poland my great grandma is still alive today after all of this and I am so dearly grateful of that.❤️💗❤️ Bóg kocha cię💗
I know right? I'm German too, and I feel horrible that's it's possible that some of my distant relatives could've participated in this horrible tragedy. I know for a fact that my German grandfather fought in world war 2, I'm pretty sure for U.S though cause they had immigrated to the U.S before world war 2.
JimTheHammerXCIII oh please you don’t get it it’s a saying when people don’t wanna say it that they are crying I mean the holacause it’s a freaken sad story
And as soon as possible, they must contribute for "preserve" the past of our "history", so that it doesn't "happen" again, otherwise your goal will be in danger. Shalom Moshe!
@Edgar Allan Foe you & 007 I'm sure are inbred so I get that your brains aren't properly developed I mean that's the only reason for the unprovoked rude disrespect comments smh
My math teacher’s father is Werner Kleeman who wrote “From Dachau to D-day”. He was a Jew who lived in a Jewish village in Germany. His own friends and the people he trusted betrayed the neighborhood and kidnapped the Jews. Months after he got to a camp, he was chosen luckily to leave the camp and moved to America where he later fought for the US army. He used his German heritage to his advantage. He helped the army find out plans of the Nazis and helped save the lives of his group. He later avenged the people that betrayed him and sent them to camps to show them what they did to the Jews
I'm from Austria and I am so sorry for all the people who were killed during the holocaust. I actually like my country but that's just a part of our history I'd like to forget. But it's important to not forget what happended and to tell people what damage something like that can make! I still don't understand how something so terrible was able to happen... and the worst thing is that there are still happening terrible things in our world. But thanks buzzfeed for this video! I think that telling and showing people what WW2 and the holocaust caused will open some peoples' eyes, I hope so...
We will never let you or Germans forget. I don't care how much you want to erase it, you won't. You butchered my family, put my grandfather in Auschwitz along with his parents, death sister and two brothers who you later on murdered. My dad, his mother and siblings starved, all of their money, belongings and properties were taken from them by force upon my grandfather's seizing and subsequent taking to KL. So no, there is no forgetting this. It has to be remember.
Nikki_cutie In 2015 there was an 70th Anniversary Event in Poland and Mr. Wisnia was a special guest of this event. He performed a beautiful Prayer - you can find it on yt typing down 'David Wisnia sings prayer at Auschwitz 70th anniversary event in Poland'. It's definitely worth listening to.
I don't care what religion you worship but the creator is all of our creator and this torture should not be experienced by anyone with a beating heart.
I live in NJ and I saw him sing (I was very small) and my great grandfather who was normally very smug started bawling and told me that he liberated this men in some part and I didn’t understand and started laughing and my mom got so mad. He was a solider for the US and a different great grandfather of mine was a member of the manhattan project. As a Jew this touches me very much
"god is not with you and i will outlive you". thats the spirit of a human being, in the eye of destruction giving the middle finger to death. you are a strong man.
The emaciated bodies being thrown into the ditch really got me. Those werent even people anymore they were shells being thrown away, to be forgotten. This man has so much power in his presence.
What an amazing man. I just want to give him a hug, he's such a strong person, he is amazing. I'm so so sorry all those events happened to you, but you are one amazing man. ❤️
Thank you for doing this wonderful video of David Wisnia. He reminds me of my own father, David Marin, who survived Auschwitz and several labor camps. Our family was blessed to have him until he died on March 12, 2024, 13 days before his 101st birthday. He, too, was also joyful, passionate about this beautiful country and always hopeful, despite his horrific past.
Yeah the Jews where god's people yet god failed too bless millions of jews during WWII... It's almost like primitive mankind made god up or something...
Cristina Magana No he did not. You are the liar. He is still performing in sold-out concerts. He should G-d willing live many happy years more til 120 as we say. He will long continue to help the world to NEVER FORGET the WITNESSED AND WELL-DOCUMENTED atrocities of the Shoah through his gift of music & good health, Gd bless him. May trolls like you go crawl away and shrivel up someplace dark and dirty.
I've been scrolling through this comment section... Some of the most heartfelt and actually smart comments only have a few likes and are probably not even acknowledged. It makes no sense.
In my opinion every person should visit Auschwitz museum in their life. It's hard to look at this, and it's hard to believe that people could do something like this. But we should be aware about this. I'm polish, and even tho I know the history and I knew what to expect from this place I was just in shock. I couldn't say anything while seeing those photographs from the camp, real clothes, and just walking in the area where many people died in torture. I have no words to describe it.
This is why people should respect people with ages like him more.
Because you have no idea what they’ve been through
With your Pepe icon, we all know that person would be you. Disgraceful.

AlexB Prime scorpion Would you like to be worked almost to death?
AlexB Prime scorpion if ur an educated person you should know
If you found this video somehow educative and/or have respect for this elderly person I recommend you do NOT scroll through these comments.
Clara K amen
Clara K thank you for your warning. I will not scroll down anymore

the real beauty is from within, the struggles of life often cause wear and tear to the skin but only enhances the inner beauty, the strength of character, the depth of the soul, the spirit of determination, and a heart of gold.
I am devastated that this kind of torture had to occur, I am Polish and when he sang the song in Polish I started crying. This is such a hard thing to take in, millions of people died, many also in Poland my great grandma is still alive today after all of this and I am so dearly grateful of that.❤️💗❤️

How is Austria to do with this?
Creeplant 2 is found out that I have a small amount of Austrian in my family
8gr8 Acumen then tell me about the truth
We will never let you or Germans forget. I don't care how much you want to erase it, you won't. You butchered my family, put my grandfather in Auschwitz along with his parents, death sister and two brothers who you later on murdered. My dad, his mother and siblings starved, all of their money, belongings and properties were taken from them by force upon my grandfather's seizing and subsequent taking to KL. So no, there is no forgetting this. It has to be remember.
yeah because my own family doesn't remember what they went through, do they? ya idiot

The emaciated bodies being thrown into the ditch really got me. Those werent even people anymore they were shells being thrown away, to be forgotten. This man has so much power in his presence.

Let God bless you.
Yeah the Jews where god's people yet god failed too bless millions of jews during WWII... It's almost like primitive mankind made god up or something...

"I wish I was never born..." this line held me so badly... I couldn't stop my tears.
