Oh my goodness! Those piglets are adorable!! And the mountains!! Looks like where we are. We are in the Fraser Valley, are you close to here? And yes we are getting ready for the gardening season too. Hubby is making us a lovely greenhouse this year! Can’t wait 😊

So nice to see you Abbey. What a beautiful property. Yes you are so close to where I am. Dammmm those piglets are just adorable. I always got 2 for my family and raised them on my sisters property. Can't get attached!! We also had chickens for eggs but got rid of the rooster as he always wanted to attack me and my sister. Sis raised bees and how fantastic was that! Her and her husband knew exactly what they were doing They just freak me out... bit too many times. The product they produced from I think it was 6 hives was crazy. One winter everything went bad and they lost it all and it was very sad. They were selling honey and honeycomb got into selling the wax for candle making... was so incredible especially when you do the part of the work... of course the bees are number one. Wish you and our husband incredible success in our farm the bees.. hope one day to purchase some in a local market.... Cheers

Loved the video. Thanks for sharing. Curious if you start plants inside.

Thanks Julie! I do start most things indoors, pretty much the only things I direct sow are carrots, radishes, beets and lettuces.

@@abbeyverigin that would be a great video to see where and how you start your seedlings. Just a thought.

Are those pig panels you are using for archs?
Genius on the chicken feeder hooks!

What a beautiful homestead you have! The mountains were breathtaking. I am sorry about your loss. Your hens and piglets are cuties! If I may be so bold, I want to caution you about revealing too much since we are all strangers. Anytime your vehicles or house number is in a video please blur them out to maintain your privacy.
Thank you for sharing your animals. I've got to pay more attention to your mead making.
