Another cool chicken gem that helped me remember Kernig’s Sign is that Kernig’s sounds like Kermit the frog- your putting their legs in a frog-like position 😊
Is it possible for some form of meningitis to last months? I have had neurological symptoms for months and they can't find anything. I have done 2 MRIs, sonograms, and x-ray that came back normal. For whatever reason (that i don't understand) my neurologist has not ordered a spinal tap.

That is true! And is also true for other disorders… patients may or may not have the typical signs/symptoms for a disorder.
