- Garnets are a family of crystals which all possess similar physical properties and crystal forms, but differ in chemical composition. They are found in most colours but red is by far the most common. Red garnets have been used for thousands of years, long being associated as a warrior stone. Soldiers wore it into battle for two reasons, it protects and it speeds healing. Although few of us today are a soldiers, we are all warriors facing adversity of many kinds. Working with red garnet can support you to overcome depression and melancholy, defeating thoughts, habits, positions and people that no longer serve you. @@v_shamayim simply wearing it will get help with your root chakra. It also brings more Agni which is fire to the body it’s great for winter months. Also great to gain confidence as the root chakra needs to be strong for someone to be confident.

I carry a piece of Garnet and Smoky Quartz in my left pocket every now and then. Good for grounding and repelling bad habits.
So interesting, been going through a tough time with my mom's cancer and other stuff like narcissistic abuse simultaneously, smh. And I had this dream holding a red Garnet and Yahweh told that this stone will strengthen me to deal when interacting with my mom. He showed me that the stone would be a great source of strength.
So I got me a piece and though the size of a large grape, it weighs a ton!
It doesn't respond to well as far as any sensations in my hand or so, but I feel intuitive that it works behind the scene, under the foundation. Perhaps the day will come when I will "feel" my garnet.
High quality garnet looks very elegant and luxurious. I like its deep red color.
Got one yesterday. Made me feel energy of the Kings in history in old Eastern Europe.

I don't think no stone can do that.
But garnet makes me feel stronger, confident and in that way can help in toxic relationships I guess.
May I recommand pink tourmaline wich is amazing to build a stong self love.
If you genualy love yourself there is less chance that you let someone toxic in your life ❤.

So odd - not having heard any of this before I today, on a Tuesday, brought red garnet to work on and find myself watching this right after having literally finished a guarana drink I just mixed up. I'm very water/Scorpio, and so this stone definitely has a surprising and strong impact on me, like something I've been missing.

I was selecting what I thought was an amethyst ring 💍 last week for my anxious thoughts and I realised when I was wearing it it was more red. I was told it may be garnet which I am quite sure it is as from what you said I do need it currently, in particular as I have entered a new setting in my little career as a carer, which I love 💗 but is challenging in many ways and have been resisting a victim mindset and this sounds like it will help me keep this annoying ego persistence away and help me focus on my my work not gaining sympathy or validation, thank you ☺️ 🌙 💎
Not sure how you could mistake amethyst for garnet...sounds a bit unlikely to me. Either way I would get that double checked if i were you.

Red garnet for me it can be very self oriented, in sense of I have to survive, I am strong, I am powerful, I am fire!, is a dark red so it absorbs energy and utilize it in its favour.

I have a few pieces of basalt (aka lava stone) that has little inclusions of red garnets in it. It’s so sparkly in the light. So the fiery garnet is amped up further with the also fiery lava origin of basalt.

Love this video and most every video adam does i also use red garnet for passion i put it into powerful places in my rock arrangements and they become a great part of the strength and forward motion the terminations of a natural garnet are complex sharp beautiful and round somewhat making them interesting raw

Pomegranate is also closely associated with the stone, evidently lending to it its name, as the stones resemble the seeds of the fruit mentioned.
I kinda fit the pieces to the puzzle together.

I love your videos. I have had major surgery on my spine and feel that red garnet combined with hematite is a great duo for helping me feel less pain and focus on getting on with the day at work. A crystal healer I met by chance through my work recommended hematite for me simply by shaking my hand! she shuddered and said that she felr she had to tell me. No, red garnet is not about fire element. It is the gemstone of Rahu (the north node of the moon) to be exact. If you need more fire take solar plexus chakra gemstones as these are of the fire element. You lack solar plexus energy, therefore, chant the beej mantra of the solar plexus chakra which will produce confidence: "Ram" is that beej mantra of the 3rd chakra located above the navel. I've started wearing a red jasper bracelet that I have more often but I don't notice that much of a difference? I mean, it keeps me energized, it does everything it's supposed to do but I don't "feel" the energy around it, or around any other gemstones that are near or touching me like others I talk to do. Do I just need to concentrate more or is there something I can do to help me sense energies around me faster?
What happen if you use garnet in combination with ruby? I usually use bead bracelets of both together.

My favourite uncut garnet pendant went missing for a long period of time when i had just started a new relationship and i recently had found it after the relationship had ended and the day after I found it it randomly shattered out of no where........any meaning there or am i reading too far into it?

I wasn't myself. I was terrified that if we ever fought or there was ever conflict he'd break up with me (this isn't something he made me believe it was just carried on from previous bad relationships) so I became a very muted docile and depressed version of myself and always bit my tongue and pretended i was never upset. I wasn't myself and became very stepford wifey which is not like me and it is not who he fell in love with so he fell out of love with me. We have remained good friends and I've been slowly returning to my normal self

Perhaps it was an experience you had to have so Red Garnet stepped aside? Perhaps it broke because it needed more cleansing. Definitely or near a fire. I've done some cleansing videos which are the first uploaded on my channel which will give you some food for thought. Thanks for watching.
I wouldn't recommend to do it more than just 2-3-4 minutes. i used to let my big red garnet sphere under the sun for hours to the point where I realized it faded a lot, its intense red is now like a faded orange. better leave it under full moon.. sun is good too but careful

Sensing things from crystals can take time. I've been working with crystals for 20 years but in the early years I could see things changing in my life with my crystal work but could feel a thing and was wondering what was either wrong with me or what was everyone on about. I relate it to taking our car to a mechanic, it may sound fine to us but their experience ear can hear something is wrong. Try sitting quietly out in nature with the crystal holding it in your receptive hand (the hand you don't write with). Then just relax and allow. You're aiming for 100% relaxation while maintaining 100% awareness. One day you may feel changes in your body or unprompted thoughts, images or emotions may pop up.

It makes zero sense for garnet to be the birthstone for January (Capricorns).

Garnet is the birthstone for January but not for Capricorn, the latter begins in December 22 (and last until January 19) therefore its birthstone should be Turquoise/Zircon/Tanzanite. If you may notice the birthstone for June is Pearl and July is Ruby, Cancer (Water, Moon) begins in June 21 while Leo (Sun, Fire) begins in July 23.
Diamond as the birthstone for Taurus (April 20), which is ruled by the beautiful white planet Venus, is more fitting. In Vedic Astrology the gemstone emerald is associated with the planet Mercury therefore it would make more sense that it is the birthstone for Gemini (May 21).
