I'm having the same problem with tech debt and rewriting systems in my game. I guess it's just reality when you're making something completely new to you.
Yeah I really think it is. I usually mess up my first few attempts horribly, but each time learn a little more about the problem till I'm able to get it right. So I feel like its part of the process.
You’re amazing man. The series is really awesome and I wish I had l something like this when I first started coding. Watched every episode ‘til now over the past 2-3 days :P
Hey, that's a good question. I typically try to learn things as I need to. I've found that I'm better at absorbing information when I have a specific problem to solve. My process usually goes like this: 1. I want to build something 2. Try to think about how I might do it with my current knowledge level 3. Search google for people who have done something similar 4. Try to implement it 5. Loop back to (2) That said. If you're interested in OpenGL I can recommend this: learnopengl.com/ If you have other specific concepts you want reference material on. Let me know and I can try to link you somewhere!
