@Linda Reiswig me too! I don't think I could sleep without them next to me. I wake up I'm the middle of the night and do a head count, if one us missing I need to know where his butt is sleeping.

Most people, majority of people do more loving than training and let some pet behaviours get out of hand because its cute. If they were to let this go on the dog could develop seperation anxiety and worse thing to do is bring it into your bed and let your dog sleep with you.

Why doesn't the owner get up and walk away as soon as she has put the dog in his bed? I think that this would encourage him to stay there as there would not be a lap for him to keep returning to. She could also put his favourite toy in the bed with him. As it is he thinks she is playing a game with him as she keeps giggling and stroking him every time he gets back on her lap.❤❤❤😮😮😮
@@elizabethsturdy it doesn't work, puppy cries at night & straches doors. Puppies don't like to be left alone, even if momma is away, the pup had its siblings.

Not always true because when l rescued my 3 yr old dog she loved sleeping with me more then in her bed. She loved me holding her in my arms more then the Fluffest blankets l could fund her and l ever put my top in her bed and she Still just wanted to be beside me all the time as l loved her too

@@collinsoconnor5843 I think you take it too seriously. When people call themselves their pets parent, and the pet their fur baby.. they don’t mean it literally. They just mean they treat it like a baby. Their baby, not their actual baby, they still have to treat it as a dog as you can’t really put human behaviour and emotions onto them.
We are technically raising our puppies up, we are training them manners like we would our kids, potty training. Just, raising them. Don’t need to take it so seriously. We all know we aren’t the animals actual mother. We just like to treat our pets like our kids, (obviously still knowing their proper behaviour and emotions.) We do no harm in doing it, and it can even help people who cannot have actual human babies or have lost one in say, a miscarriage or at birth. Many have said it helped. One even found the puppy they got was born on the day of her miscarriage. Us calling ourselves their ‘mother’ does not harm you, bud. 🤷🏻 Especially when we do know. I’m called my dogs and snakes mother as a jokey family thing. I raised the snake from a hatchling. The dog just acts like a puppy all the time and will sit in your arms like a baby. It’s a jokey thing, isn’t meant to be taken literally at all.

This is so true. I picked up an abandoned puppy years ago and I made a comfortable kennel for Max to sleep. He cried all through the night. Until I finally got up, put him in my arms and we both slept in the recliner without a peep. A puppy is like a human baby.

He looks like a Vizsla puppy. If he’s a Vizsla, the breed is known as “Velcro dogs” because they stick to their humans like Velcro. They are very affectionate and friendly and love being right by your side.
BBinPa - Yes!!! Definitely a Viszla puppy! We have a gorgeous 4 year old Viszla, and she loves to curl up right besides me or my husband, best of all curled up in-between us. Viszlas are "Velcro dogs" and they are super affectionate, loving and loyal. The owner of this puppy in the video should embrace this puppy, and allow the puppy to snuggle by her side, or on her lap everywhere. As humans we are super privileged, if we are blessed to own a dog. To be loved by a dog, is something very special and to be treasured.
@@RooVerton-vi9ju I’m in love with the breed! On March 18th I adopted a 1 year old Vizsla and a 6 year old Shiba Inu from a local rescue. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. My Viz’s name is Mischa and you won’t find a more Velcro dog than her breed!

A wind up clock with a stuffed animal should do the trick. The ticking of the clock, subs well for momas heartbeat, and a warm furry toy for it's siblings. Sure helps to get a quiet night's sleep.

Making the stuffed animal smell like you would help too. The puppy wants a cuddle buddy and their owner so having a stuffed animal with your scent might make the puppy feel safer and more secure sleeping in their own bed.

Dogs definitely need a lot of love and affection puppies particularly so and lots of physical contact love.
I hate to be Debbie downer but he’s getting to the age 10 weeks+ that you need to make him comfortable sleeping on his own. After he shows that ability for quite a while, THEN you let him sleep with you. Particularly if you want a well trained and confident dog! Especially so for certain more intense breeds! Doggo Argentino, Cane Corsos, etc honestly should probably never sleep in bed with you. Certain breeds NEED a strong leader to be effective, happy,
well socialized, confident dogs, and you establish effective ground rules early in these young puppy stages!
So you would just let dog walk al over you. Dogs as well as kids need some discipline

It does, I'm sure. Nice king or queen size that is more his/bed and we are just allowed to sleep in it. Lol. My rottie sleep with me and once he was grown, put my husband in the couch a few times. He got off work late and he would be comfy, head on his pillow and all. Told him we needed another king size bed when we got a new one, he said we didn't and he wanted a particular bed and it didn't come in king size which made no sense to me and there was one similar to it that could be gotten in king size. Anyway, he suddenly decided he liked the other it was so similar and even though the couch was comfortable, he said no and went the next day and picked the bed up. Things we do for our children and animals. Speaking of spoiled babies just tonight, I cut up a watermelon earlier tonight, and I give the rines/peelings etc to our horses &/or chickens. When I put the chunks in their pans, they kept pushing it back to me....... evidently they were in too big of chunks and they wanted bite size. They ate it after I cut it smaller. They thought I was going to hand feed them as well and I was like nope I don't think so. I kid you not. They act like overgrown puppies half the time, the way they follow me around when I'm in the pasture or have them out. I have a rooster that follows me around as well. My oldest daughterjust shakes her head. She told me brother this afternoon, just wait until it starts getting dark..... if she is outside, there will be 3-4 deer very close by. She talks to them and at times they would not be 10-12ft away from her. He just shook his head and said that's the way it has always been with her and animals. He is a lot older than me and remembers things growing up that I did or happened that I do not. That was actually the first time anyone had mentioned that I had a connection with not only our animals but others as well. Great hearing about his memories of me as a child. It's weird, I know about some things when I was young, bc of ppl talking or seeing pics. I just don't remember it happening. I remember a few things, but not like I hear others talk about things that they can remember. 😢 weird 😕

Same as human babies, yet mothers isolate them in a room all alone. If women wouldn't make their husband sleep in a separate room then they shouldn't make a baby do it either. And God forbid they allow a dog to sleep in the same room but not their baby!
@@VMM34 bruh, its fine, my brother preferred to sleep alone, in his own room and crib when he was just born up until this day he sleeps separate from everyone including his partner, no big deal, its totally fine to have babies sleep in different rooms and beds, you're just overreacting, babies don't care about that as long as they're fed at their times ect, but they don't care about sleeping with their parents 24/7

My rescue dog kira has terrible separation anxiety, she hates being without me. I was in the hospital last week for 7 days, my dad said she cried every night I was away. 😢💔 being without her was super difficult for Me as well

My fur boy slept in my room for 16 years until he passed away. I brought him home at five weeks and yes I let him sleep by me. Through most of his puppyhood anyways.
More so the warm fluffy top. The last 2 winters here in Florida I lay one of my tops face down (zipper underneath) both my adult pups is their immediate go-to spot.

Whenever I have to take my cats in and leave them at the vet, I always put a soft towel or pillowcase I’ve been using in the carrier with them so it smells strongly like me. Like a reminder, “Don’t worry, boys. Momma’s gotchu.”

Ohhh that is so sweet ❤️when my now senior dog was a tiny puppy, we used to cuddle whilst I was wearing a blue dressing gown and eventually this became for the same reasons his favourite bedding. Plus we put a little alarm clock in his bed in order to replicate mum”s heartbeat. Good memories ❤️

It is said that dogs are a man's best friend. I can attest to that. I had two poodles. They knew my thoughts, it was pretty wild. I agree, with the person who said to take your sweater off and lay it in his bed. He will have your smell and the comfort of the softness of that sweater to cuddle up.🐕
