Hey, StephenCezar15, can you post up the 1989/90 season of "Love Connection" in which Johnny Gilbert announces 3 production companies (Eric Lieber Productions (1990)/Lorimar Television (1988)/Warner Bros. Television Distribution (1984)) "Love Connection is an Eric Lieber Production, produced in association with Lorimar Television, and is distributed by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution!"? I seen it Game Show Network (GSN) reruns years ago?
Actually GSN reruns had the 2001 “Distributed by” Warner Bros Television logo with AOL Time Warner byline and website after the Eric Lieber Productions logo.
susanfit47 Actually that would be from the 1989-90 season of Love Connection and here’s why: 1). Lorimar-Telepictures would dissolve after the 1988-89 season and be bought out by Warner Bros.’ Warner Communications (later Time Warner Company in 1990). 2). That season would be the first with another John, this one named John CERVANKA, who replaced Johnny GILBERT for 1989-90. 3). John CERVANKA would stick around for the rest of the Woolery-era of Love Connection until its end in 1994 and also announced the short-lived 1998-99 Pat Bullard revival.
Payi That was only for almost all of the 1991-92 season episodes that GSN reran. The other seasons GSN reran kept their original logos on almost all episodes from their respective seasons. GSN only reran: S2 (1984-85), S3 (1985-86, the first with Gene Wood as announcer), S6 (1988-89, the only season with Johnny Gilbert as announcer), S7 (1989-90, the first with John Cervanka as announcer), S8 (1990-91, the 1st with the still pics opening montage and last with the 1986-91 theme music), S9 (1991-92, the first with the jazzy version of the LC theme) and very early S10 (1992-93).
Rod Roddy was the voiceover heard here...pre-'Price Is Right'!
