Maybe you could up your game a little here and there, recognisability(intro, sounds etc), structure(show of design, 0-60 etc), every big channel has it, camera work could be better, sometimes I like to let a new model sink in longer, you always have the data, in depth, but it is also a lot, you Chael Sonnen ramble here and there and I drift off sometimes, maybe tighten it up a bit, writing scripts... maybe even the overall video length... When I subscribed you were this casual yet hyper knowledgeable car guy with a hobby UA-cam channel, now you went pro so your game has to become pro too, you know? Do what all the big channels do, just give it your own style.... Just some constructive criticism, would like to see you succeed.

OMG best video ever! Yes continue the car reviews, that's what I love! I left vehicle virgins when he left car reviews behind and just blogged about his privilege lifestyle. I hate bloggers but the only one I watch is The Stradman because of his humility and honesty. So yes, I'd definitely watch your blog, as long as it gave an honest, non glamorized view into a UA-camr's daily life, including your struggles, just as you have done in this video. Authenticity is rare and desperately needed in our digital age, and if u wanna blog being 100% real, you and stradman would have a corner and a huge advantage on all other car bloggers. More contents like this: count me in! Love from Puerto Rico!

You’re in your late 20’s. When I was your age, I had that same mindset as you. Wanting to be my own boss, wanting to do whatever I want, traveling anywhere, eating anywhere. But you’ll soon realize that all the “fun” money could’ve been saved for assets instead of liabilities. Becoming a successful UA-camr is extremely hard because there will always be new creators coming about stealing your shine. There are people with millions of subscribers who barely get any views. It’s very important that if you decide to take such a big risk, you have 2 years worth of expenses saved up. Going on expensive trips like a cruise or a trip to Japan may seem like a good idea, but those expenses are going to hurt you. I can appreciate your enthusiasm, but at the end of the day, you have to work as much as you can to make as much as you can. There’s nothing wrong with doing things the old-fashioned way. Good luck to you Eddie. Don’t ever feel too proud to go back to your job.

I wish I could help you dude. Materialistic things never last because when your values and priorities change, your views on objects change. The one thing that is harder to replace are good people in your life. That's the passion. Not just the cars. This is why you need to see youtube this same way. People go on youtube to escape and need entertainment and happiness. And they build this parasocial connection. And it gets even stronger when you meet and greet fans. THIS builds growth. So adding things like this and excitement to your channel will change everything. Plus have a brand on the side that can be worth exiting in the long run.

He left UA-cam for a longgg time and when you do that the algo punishes you. Infact the only one of the early car vlog UA-cam channels still doing excellently is thestradman. Shmee doesn't really get views when you consider the number of subscribers he has, he makes up for it with little editing and constant long form uploads but James just gets nothing less than 500k views per upload and vehicle virgins is beginning to climb back up

Great video - as someone who is part time dabbling in automotive content / reviews I can relate to a lot of these points (definitely not my full time job yet!). With automotive content it is difficult to stand out and differentiate yourself from the crowd, although the choices are plentiful.
    Few thoughts.
    1. As long as you can cover your daily expenses that's amazing. It can only 'build' from there. 6 months is nothing in the grand scheme of things of being into a venture.
    2. Have you thought of placing your own products / services on your page? You can easily carve out a niche of something you can help people with either physical, digital or mentorship product. Steering someone towards your brand(s) entirely will potentially help you grow all around.
    3. I definitely enjoy your updates, and thoughts as you grow this. This is a crowded, tough niche where the name of the game is 'content and more content' -- and it's definitely not easy to jump over that mental hurdle when the equation is fairly linear. There are definitely many directions you can take this, and only you can decide what is 'right' for you. This is definitely 'fun' for me to do, but not sure if I can ever transition to doing this full time, and as you mentioned the 'passions' will just turn into a 'job' rather quick with that.
    4. Oh and the rolls isn't bad either. Still on my to-drive list hopefully soon.
Good luck on your direction and curious to see where this heads and all future updates!

Eddie…..been following you for several months now and I truly enjoy your content. Big time props to you for taking YT on full time, I can only imagine how stressful it may be. That being said, your content is awesome. You’re very genuine and that goes a long way man. I love anything automotive so you’re in my wheelhouse. Keep grinding, you’ve got what it takes to be successful in the social media world. Personally, I don’t think that 6 months is long enough to determine success or failure. Give it a year and then look back at your work. I wish you the best in all that you do, and ask for one favor. More Z06 content baby….C8 owner myself.

I can see why you are not having the perfect experience. Ultimately, you need the positive reinforcement OR passion to keep going. If your channel is not growing quickly, it can be a deterrent. Plus you are fighting the trend of EVs, which I am guessing is not fueling your passion.

The journey isn't about the destination, it's about the mindset you build throughout the journey. The resilience, knowing when the master needs to submit to another master to learn the next level, the consistency, the discipline, the emotion control and understanding of it, so on and so fort. It's a fun but challenging game to play. It's easy to follow someone else's script written for you, but following your own script will pay off far more because your character is the real thing under development, not your net worth. The net worth is a byproduct of the evolved character.

Don't worry, self-doubt and anxiety work hand in hand, and the only reason they appear is because you are unsure to how to fix a dilemma in your life. Which is likely you worrying about your future and your channel, which is normal. Embrace it. It means you are in the proper path. I keep writing comment, even others, to give you pointers and ideas, it's up to you to use them or not. If you need for info, then ask, don't just shy away or let your ego run from asking for help. These anxieties are your mind letting you know its time to ask for guidance. So find mentors, ask for some knowledge. The stuff I wrote prior should help a bunch, but you need to have an open-mind when in need of learning to go to the next level. don't figure your way through it and waste time. Ask away, and be open to external suggestions, and pick a path that resonates best with your values and priorities.

Do you shoot with scripts? Random feeling to vids. Cam work is vlog style rather than slick review style. Exterior drive by shots needed. Find interesting locations to shoot at. I watched a few vids, might not be typical but you have blackout sunglasses on a lot, which isn't great for audience connection. Charisma...some can develop it, some have it in buckets.

You don't have a spending problem, you have an income problem. Don't cut your expenses, grow your income. I've written tips and tricks to grow your channel before. Here's another; start a car wash product brand with highly effect products and accessories, and collab with all your connections and affiliates to make a bunch of sales. Have the biggest channels as brand ambassadors. There's are plenty of ideas everywhere, just need to know what you want in forms of result (money), then you can see different opportunities arise. Don't seek small incremental growth, that never works. Write your goal down and add another zero at the end, and see how you could make that happen. You'll see, and nothing you are doing now will get you to that amount unless you change your perspective. I've known of you for close to a decade dude, if there is one person that deserve all the growth and success is you.

    1) You were the driving force of yours and Parker's channel when you guys used to be partners take time to meditate on this this will help you with your confidence.
    2) Start the series 5 things I hate about a particular car and don't feel as though you are copying Parker.
    3) Remember that even though you have gotten used to high-end cars your viewers have not so it's not about you be excited for revealing to them a new thing
    4) Purchase a Lamborghini hurricane. No more safe auto purchases. This will also help to blow up your channel.
    5) You may not know who I am but I've met you one time in Ann Arbor Michigan I live in commerce Michigan. I've been watching you this whole time and believein you.

To help manage your doubts and overthinking, it could be good to set objective and quantitative goal(s) by a specific time that determines whether you continue or not. So for example, have x amount of subscribers or income by y date or z amount of savings remaining or something. You've already decided this path is worth doing and something you want to try, and second guessing the criteria at which you made the decision is just wasteful stress when UA-cam is a numbers and persistence game until you hit your big break. Set the objective and goal and trust the process at which you made the goal.
For managing self employment, it may be good to set concrete times for relaxation when you don't think about work, especially when traveling. If you're having a problem thinking about content, maybe set a quantitative goal for how much content you need to achieve (like 2 videos' worth in a week or x amount on this vacation) and don't work past that after you've hit it.

THESE ARE THE TYPES OF VIDEOS YOU SHOULD DO ON YOUR 2ND CHANNEL. JUST TALK ABOUT LIFE, LESSONS, EXPERIENCES, AND UA-cam STRUGGLES/BLESSINGS

I do like videos like this and appreciate the transparancy, it shows you aren't fake. On a huge plus side bud, you look super healthy! Keep it up, self worth and health should always be number 1. Looks to me you have your priorities straight.

There's a difference in the way we view materialism as we mature. Maturity comes when you develop higher levels of perspective and conscious awareness. Even at the higher stages, you'll still want the same materials, but for different reasons. You learn to actually enjoy craftsmanship more, and not getting stuff to impress others. This shift in perspective includes a switch in ego development by understanding ego is an important tool to master, and not a master of you. Uncontrolled ego develops personas to cover insecurities to strictly avoid feeling defeat. It's a biological, mental protection, so to speak. Also, when developing higher consciousness and perspectives, you develop higher levels of empathy, which changes everything. But your long term goal never changes. However, your principles, ethics and morals change. Therefore, they affect your priorities and values, to accommodate how you see the world when your perspective shift happens.

Commenting for the 100th time that the production is too haphazard. There is no structure and it makes the videos hard to follow in addition to removing any potential anticipation of future videos because you' never know what you'll get. Make the car the star and up the production effort if you wan't to improve.

In my opinion Eddie, I think you started a little late. You should have started working on your on own channel when you left Vehicle Virgins. Car scene was extremely popular with Salomondrin/CupGang/ Vehicle Virgins/GoonSquad ( When these channels started off). We use to watch them religiously with my friends, now I don’t remember when’s the last time I watched one of their videos

I would just recommend finding a niche in the information you provide about the cars you review… like how Doug does quirks and features. Sometimes you ramble and don’t follow through on the subject at hand. But if your content weren’t good I wouldn’t be here so keep at it!!

Your challenge isn't the quantity of videos, its the quality of videos. As in, you need to understand that people need more "wow" factors in the videos they watch. Nothing too boring. Add challenges at the very least in your content and excitement. It looks like you don't read long comments, so idk. Wish i could help...
