I stand by my performance - AGENT OF CHAOS 🎉
@EllieTalksTheatre I love your energy
Thanks, this was a fun watch.
Yours is always the best - so entertaining 😂🎉❤
You missed the Waterloo East!
@@richardseaman4947 I also missed every single West End theatre so add it to the list 😂
This is like top gear but for theatres... love this series so far 😅
Pretty sure Mickey is James. Ellie is probably Jeremy and Aeron is Richard
Ellie is captain slow lmao 🤣@@Nikki-tx6kh
idea for next challenge. Each choose a show to go to (you could buy the cheapest tickets if you wanted) and put together some kind of Bingo card of things either to find within the theatre, to do in the theatre, some of them could be really obscure for more points, for example "discover who the theatre ghost is" or "buy a show specific cocktail", then youll have to choose which show you go to based off if you want to go for the big points or just go for the easy ones like "give a tour of the show merchandise" or "film the bows" etc.
8:42 Omg I booked a two-show day to see Cabaret + Rebecca for next week and didn't even look to see how close they were! I can't believe how convenient that is, and how grateful I am for this info 😂 Thank you Aeron!
Ahh another stagey competition with Mickey, Aeron, and Ellie! I’m watching this while doing the dishes and it’s adding some much needed excitement to my chores! 😂🎉
This was such a memorable hour! ❤️❤️❤️
Bravo! 🎉
Mickey: Planned and intentional (including booping spots)
Aeron: Informative tour guide (also on time as a tour guide should be!)
Ellie: CHAOS
And would you have it any other way? 😂
@@EllieTalksTheatre There's na-na-na-na-na-na-No way!
Omg this has made my Monday!! You need to do more of these!! Flipping awesome!!!
Thank you for making a Monday way more bearable! 🎉❤️🎉❤️
Mickey I was cast as Ms. Trunchbull in a local production of Matilda!
LOVE these theatre themed challenges! So much fun. 🤗🩷
I was going to have this video on in the background while doing other stuff but then I became too invested and watched the entire thing with rapt attention 😂
Wow. This was so much fun. I felt as though I was running through the streets of London along with all of you. Exhausting! Congrats Aeron!!
Loved watching this, brilliant to see the theatres we’ve been to and some new ones. Well done all. Amazing effort! ❤
Loved this! another challenge video! Love all Ellie’s great quotes! 😂
Had to pause while watching and let you know that Mickey is doing my walk - if the weather is good I'll always walk to/from Victoria to save a little bit of money and get my steps in! I have done it at a similar pace, too, when it has been tight to catch the next train home and I don't want to wait half an hour for the next one, so I feel your pain.
I love the challenge videos! They look so fun, especially the chaos 😂
This series is just getting better and better! The heat definitely didn't help - maybe a 10-15 min interval should be added for a water/rest on the next one for weather. Loved thre history lesson on the theatres amd shows along the way too!
Yayyy another challenge video! I'm still at the start, but I'm sure this will be just as fun as the previous challenge :D
go aeron!!! this was just as fun as the first one, yall did great
Well done Aeron and you are so quiet beside the others - delighted!
Another fun video, I was tired at the end as if I was walking too! Yea Aeron, well deserved win, the only one on time!🤩 Poor Ellie, she was at a big disadvantage but she gets an award for even trying, knowing Mickey and Aeron knew the area better!🥰 I think she should choose the next challenge!☺
My route would have been Waterloo to start: old and young Vic, lyttelton, Dorfman and Oliver, southbank centre and then head across Waterloo bridge and nab everything in the Aldwych area, (Aldwych, Lyceum, Novello, Fortune, Duchess, Theatre Royal DR, Fortune, then do a time check and figure out the best route back to Trafalgar Square passing as many theatres as possible in what was left, (ideally Gillian Lynne, down St martins lane crossing off Cambridge, St Martins, Ambassadors, arts, Noel Coward, (maybe wyndhams) Duke of York and coliseum on the route down to Trafalgar Square)
That WAS the plan but... then I made my blunder 😂
@@EllieTalksTheatreyou decided on your little detour of south London! Glad to see the video up after hearing about it at panto launch.
I love these competitions! Such a great idea xx
Whew! I'm tired just watching the three of you running around.😅I recall you saying the theatres are spread apart but, wow.
Phantom may be considered the longest residency of a current musical (if you combine the 2 productions). However, The Fantasticks opened at the Sullivan Street Playhouse in 1960 and did not close until 2002 in the same theater after 17,162 performances.
The revival ran for 11 years and over 4,300 performances. At some point in the run, they renamed the theater for Jerry Orbach who was a lead in The Fantasticks long before his law & order days.
Incidentally, the building that houses the theater is owned by Catherine Russell. She is the star of the play which is also housed in another theater in that building, The Theater Center.
The play, Perfect Crime, has been running since 1987 except for the pandemic. It has been in a handful of theaters so doesn't count for residency.
Last July, they gave their 14,000th performance. What makes this so spectacular is that Catherine has been the star of the show since the beginning and she still plays the role. She has never called out sick or used vacation days. She missed 4 performances (out of over 14,000), one for each of her siblings' weddings.
I guess it was worth it for Aeron to move all of the bikes in front of the Dunmar. The Next to Normal obsession goes on.
I'm loving these challenges!
I was looking at the comments to see if anyone suggested future ideas, and a wild Lady Rebecca appeared! I suppose that as a fellow historical costumer who does theatre, me running into you here makes sense hahahah
@@seanmcgcostumes lol, yep! I've been watching his videos for ages!
I think you could do all of the Sydney musical venues in little over an hour. Bc we only have a few 😂 from top of my mind maybe I can think of 10.
Supermarket Sweep has nothing on this. Bravi tutti!
Aeron: Says hello to the no-longer-a-theatre
Me: Awwwww
Victoria to Theatre Land is a hike and a half .
Well done, Aeron! I honestly though Mickey will win this time...BUT Great efforts all!
Another great challenge video.
This really was a nail bitter & even though I had a feeling Aeron was going to take it could have gone any way
This was so fun! I know the area well so it was fun to imagine what could have been a good route. It was exciting that you and Aeron went to so many of the same ones as it made it really hard to tell who was winning - impressed you caught up so well starting from Victoria. I'm also trying to go to every West End theatre (only have 4 left) and then that's a great idea of Aeron's to do the wider London as well. Thought I hadn't heard of the Seven Dials Playhouse but have just realised it's the Actors Centre rebranded which I did a couple classes at years ago - hadn't heard of the Leicester Sq one though. Excited to see what you come up with next!
But very clear who was losing 🤟😂
@@EllieTalksTheatre You'll get that medal back on the next one!!
@@mwmhepsif the trend continues, Aeron will make a massive blunder next time
I LOVE this video!!!
Again, just so much fun.
I love this, looks like so much fun.
Do stage door challenge visiting as many as you can 🎉
I would have made a bee line across the Waterloo bridge and gone straight for the Holborn/Strand theatres
Is there a list of all the West End theatres anywhere? I'd like to follow Aeron's challenge of ticking them all off ... I'm fairly sure I'm like 75% of the way there already.
When I came to London last year I went out & did the touristy things & went to see Buckingham palace before ALW Cinderella but it was like a week before the queens jubilee so it was all busy & blocked off with army people on buses so it took longer than what I thought & i couldn't go back to certain places so I had to get a taxi to get to the theatre & made it with 5mins to spare😂
Not quite the same, but I have seeing a show at every London theatre on my bucket list, and the same with NY. So far I’ve been to 21 out of 40 west end theatres, plus 9 other London venues
That was fun. But,… a lot of work!
What a delightful idea.
This was so fun to watch!
Honestly, going for the New Vic was her first mistake, let alone the Southwark Playhouse. And I knew the moment she went to the NT that getting the Olivier would be a timesuck.
Who edited all of that? Well done
Hard Mode, do this for venues during the Edinburgh Fringe
🏅 So much fun!
"For the Americans , that's hot: 82.4 to be exact.
when you go back to broadway, if you have time, you could do who can get the most playbills (not from shows your seeing just by asking)
Aeron is super cute
This is crazy! How many theaters are there?!
anyone else pointing out the places youve in the background??
Did anyone keep track on which theatres they all missed at least?
Is London another planet, where you've evolved in a different environment?
On my planet, 28 degrees is just below freezing.
😉
Sounds like you aren't accounting for the difference between Celsius and Fahrenheit?
@@EllieTalksTheatre There, you went and spoiled my little joke. 😘
Sorry you had a hard time of it, but this was still fun to watch.❤
