It was so lovely to see the orchestra, I could see the conductor from where I was sitting when I came to see the show, but was really confused as to where the rest of the orchestra were! It was also really insightful to see what goes on backstage and what life is like for a performer between/before a show so thank you for recording this! Sending you so much love 🥰

The one thing I would most love to see from the show is your quick change at the end of Act 1 - loved seeing the Heathers one and I find it fascinating how well a team of dressers/stage management can work with you to make it happen seamlessly from an audience perspective

If you love felt tip liner get on stila all day waterproof! I have used it for years and will NEVER go back. A little bit exxy but it lasts 3x as long as any other product I've ever bought. I do liner every day and it lasts me a solid 6 months. Loving everything about these behind the scenes, it brings me such joy to look back on your videos

I'm always a bit anxious for you all when I see you talking backstage during the show and I'm like: omg what if their mic is turned on by mistake, everybody will hear them talk! Ahhhh I loved seeing the orchestra my dad is a retired west end musician. We have figured out that he might have played in Les mis when you were little Eponine ! (That is now his cool musical fact when people ask😂) so he loves seeing how the orchestras have changed in different theatres so I can’t wait to show him to footage you got ! 🥰
I love your tuck shop. I have my own version which is the drawer of requirements. It is a drawer in my desk, full of tea, muesli bars, safety pins, hair ties, pads, tampons, the basic pain killers and antihistamines, some instant noodles in case anyone forgets their lunch and a huge stash of emergency chocolate. Because sometimes you have an emergency need for chocolate. Most of it is stuff I don't need myself, but I like being the person people come to if they need something, and if I ever need a favour I always have chocolate to offer in return.

I saw the show in October. And boy do I want to go again. I loved seeing all this fun backstage stuff. During the interval I heard someone telling their dad about how the band would stand visible onstage at the end of School of Rock to show that the kids could really pay, since hearing that I wondered where the band was that they could get somewhere elevated so fast from playing. And now I know! So interesting! Thank you Carrie!
Thank you for such an insightful video and for being so down to earth. It astounds me that you catch public transport, go to shops, get transformed into your role and then go on stage and perform so well. And it's not like you can stop mid performance and redo something, so the pressure must be intense.

definitely a practical learner too- not theatre but I used to play in amateur orchestras until just after uni and I would write on the stave who came in before and after-although it didn't always work with mad time changes. Love the gem stone rings you have!

I do community theater and I learn my lines a lot in the car 🤣. I bought this mini tape recorder at Best Buy, and it is a lifesaver! I tape by scene, I say my lines and have my daughter say everyone else’s lines… I practice that way for a bit and then I record everyone else’s lines and then spaces where my lines go, and then I practice that way 😊 -as far as learning the music, sometimes we’ll get a cd which I play in the car and I’ll sing along….😊 Or i’ll listen to the cast recording… I’ve always had a fear of not remembering my lines so I’m a freak about it… I run through my lines every day ( and music) even on show days! Also… just have to say I love behind the scenes stuff! ❤️
Oh my god I came to see it on Monday for my birthday and it was amaizng. It was such a surprise because of the Malala fund , Lloyd Webber was there , David Walliams , Amando Holden and Malala . It was such a cool show and I absolutely loved “I know I have a heart “ when you are just in the middle . It was amazing

I'm curious...what is one of the strangest things to happen to you, that included the audience, during a production? About 25 years ago (yes that long ago), my service dog interrupted a show because he started to alert to someone on the stage. 😬 Turned out to be one of the dancers, who promptly had a grand mal drop seizure (due to low sugar). Never went back to a show lol. So anything weird ever happen to you?
I’ve been in that lift! When I took my sister in law to War Horse a few years ago we were taken to our disabled access seats through the stage door and some backstage area. Very exciting times for two small town country girls.
