I still think comics are worth getting graded but only gold and silver
I second that to me it'll have to be golden age but silver age maybe.
Bronze will one day be as old as silver are now and so on.
@@beetlejuice63093 Bronze age is up there in age no pun intended, over 50 years now since 1970. I think 60 years of bronze age comicbooks is about right to get your certain comics graded for anyone's personal collection.
As for me in my personal collection to grade my bronze comicbook would be giant size fantastic four #4 1975 first appearance of the Multiple Man, my favorite Marvel character. The comic is old and a bit beat but yet still readable with the Marvel value stamp still attach to the page and un-cut, i'll consider it then to grade it and preseve it but for now i'm keeping it raw to enjoy and to appreciate.

I still collect graded books as well. I have mostly CGC, then CBCS, and maybe one or two PGX. I like to have a raw copy for each of my slabs, but that's not always feasible. Interested to see what PSA is going to offer with their comic grading. Thanks for sharing your collection.

A Wolverine 1 is always good to have in the collection. There were a lot of Amazing Spiderman. Is that your favorite line to collect or something different. I have a ton of X-Men I'm working on but recently picked up a lot of Batman that I need to rebag and board.
Nice books! Yea I'm not looking to send anything off to get graded these days...a lot of time and money can get wrapped up in it...less money I spend to grade stuff the more I can spend on books I'm wanting 😂

Very nice collection. I had several books that I was getting ready to send to CGC, but I've put that on-hold until they fix this bent inner well issue that is damaging the comics.

I do buy graded books and I do buy grade too but it’s mostly 1990s. I know that in 10 years I’m not gonna lose my money.😂😂 they’re mostly for my man cave

I like graded books as they are great for display. I also dislike graded books because of how much it has inflated the cost of collecting. My biggest concern is that in the future it will become increasingly difficult to tell the difference between real and fake graded books.
I only have one grade book that's G.I. Joe a real American hero issue one 9.2.

Hey curious, do you as a comic collector actually read the comics that you own? Or do you just collect the graded comics because of the covers?

I just received my new “grail”.
1:500 Ultimate Spider-Man #1. Virgin variant signed by J Scott Campbell. Numbered with COA. Can’t wait to send it off to CGC.
Took 9 months, but I finally have all prints, variants, ratios, exclusive and event covers for issue #1.
I even have the 2 Italian covers published by panini.
I regret nothing. 😂

I never find anything old or worth anything . Just old worthless collections or worthless dollar books. Everything is priced really high if you do. Seems only comic shops get decent books for a cheap price.
