An interesting fact:
Namaste is a very popular Hindi phrase, but in my language, coincidentally, we have exactly the same phrase, which there means "Here we are".
So, namaste (να' μαστε) and namaste (नमस्ते).

Hindi namaste comes from Sanskrit námas+te, which means "bowing+you", whereas Greek namaste comes from "na+eimaste", which means "to (here)+we are". This one is a coincidence. A most interesting coincidence though. 😋

I must admit…I’ve been very interested in Indian culture for some time now. So much truth in your ancient scripts! And the stepwells and the Meenakshi temple for instance are insanely beautiful. It must be nice coming from a culture that cares to make things meaningful. So interesting how so many different can be conveyed at once.

since I have started learning more and more about hindu culture I have felt a strange connection I never have before. I wonder if it is just an interest or a supernatural sign. Since I've been meditating and trying to speak to Brahma I have felt more at peace with myself and who I am. this music is also really soothing to listen to.

I'm reading the book "The Stranglers" set in the early 1800s. It is about the man William Sleeman's uncovering of the Thuggees. I am so sorry in the history of the amazing country of India that such persons infected the society. yes indeed. Although Kwan Yin is Chinese female personification of Bodhisattva which ultimately originated in the Devi worshipping culture of India. Chinese Buddhist monks brought the Goddess worshipping idea to China in ancient times. Most Buddhist cultures actually worships Goddess derived from the the concept of Goddess Parvati worshipping.

@@fyy7419 Yes, yes you are being extremely narrow-minded, raids have been carried out on multiple occasions on multiple churches, temples and mosques by multiple people at multiple parts of the world, doesn't mean that Mughals haven't contributed to 250 years of sophisticated Mughal architecture which just as much, if not more awe-inspiring. Also, ironically enough, Hagia Sophia was never actually destroyed by the Ottomans, but just redesigned to be a secular structure, something that you completely missed. Indians get a bad reputation due to biased people like you, maybe try reading up a bit of history.
