Adobe has done a fairly large update with Lightroom again. Adding generative fill ai, more tethering options, some updates on the Lens blur and more. Obviously the biggest one here is the update on Generative Fill Ai which is a huge improvement on removing objects in Lightroom and Lightroom Classic. Very Happy with this new addition.

So when is lightroom going to be able to make RAW files that come out of a Canon camera look good? Their RAW processing is lousy... JPGS out of the camera still look better.

Generative AI in LR doesn’t work as well on removing things in the sky. PS generative AI has a different engine and works better on removing things in the sky. After watching numerous videos no one has mentioned this. PS is not dead.
Oh I agree, photoshop is not dead for sure. I’ve definitely had to go into PS and work it. I haven’t done anything on the sky myself. But so far it’s worked fairly well
my Canon R6II still not tethering :( all the fuss for nothing! I have tried everything! Upgrading OSX, Updating Firmware, New memory card, Rebooting both camera and mac and still no luck! please help me
thats super weird, I will test it out with my r6II and see what i can figure out.
Thank you! My colleague said I’m using a cheap cable but it is the same one I use to tether the one in my uni on the R5 . It works with the Eos utility 3 but not LR 😢
I still have to stay with Photoshop and work by hand. 99% of what I capture is NSFW and Adobe fails and declines the edit.
Makes sense. It’s a little sensitive in that area.
