Currently driving a 2021 BMW X2 S28I as a courtesy loaner, obviously the 35I is much faster and a whole different type of car, but this thing feels fairly quick, and can be easily tuned and get an extra 40 hp with a Dinan module for $200. It’s very comfortable, seats are a bit stiff but better than a base 330 I, mine has the standard 18s which actually look really good and not too small. The problem is with visibility. With the seats up in back the blind spots are awful, the rear window is tiny, and it wouldn’t be such a big deal if they just put some goddamn Blindspot sensors, I mean come on it was refresh for 2020 and that was one of the biggest grapes from consumers and auto reviewers. Plus it’s standard on pretty much every other BMW product currently, Like the three series, and the two series gran coupe
Guys, I’ve not seen in person so my question is, has it got a high driver seating position? For example compared to a Volvo XC40? In the video it looks like a saloon rather than a SUV / crossover.
It's low. Couple inches higher than a Camry or Accord... I find the driver's side cramp... It drives really nice... Placement of vents is frustrating... Cup holders are just shy of useless, just badly designed... Good leg room in the back... Placement of rear phone charges lead to easy breakage... I enjoy the car, but wouldn't buy again.
Unfortunately adaptive cruise control does not come standard, that’s part of the driving assistant package, what is standard is what BMW calls dynamic cruise control, which sounds like it’s adaptive but all it means is that if your cruise control is on and your going down a hill it will brake for you. When I leased my Mini Cooper S last year I saw dynamic cruise control and I was like Sweet it’s got adaptive cruise control, but alas it’s the dumb kind😢
Great review on the BMW X2 there!!
Thanks! 😁

The X2 sloped roof makes it look better than the boxier X1
I was JUST looking at the X2 M35i. It's a beast, and I dig the look

I like this car, nice drive around in the city car.
debating whether to trade my '13 X1 for a newer model X2 xdrive, just not sure it's worth it tho, basically less HP and FWD biased... :(
Love it Beautiful 🥰BMW x2 28i
