Nice template, I have it! The templet is great and affordable but I want to realise guys this template do not fix your broadcast mix problem if you don't have great musicians, great instruments set up and tune on stage. Everything stars with great performance, great mic pre, good level from stage to the template, clean input signal. Make sure that you fix those problem before you spend the money to purchase it. This is really awesome. I would really love to see this template being used in a Livestream. If I can make it work during the live session then I can say for sure that it worth way more than $500.

On the drums, have I thought about auditioning Roland’s drum triggers on the kick and snare. They function as a real time replacement (or blend) for kick/snare (like the Slate Trigger software does - but live). So it creates a hybrid acoustic and midi triggered sample based kick/snare. I found in some live settings it’s a great way to supplement the kick/snare sound live (and therefore live bec the triggered sample goes into the board as mixable audio). Just a thought....

I have used Pro Tools for the past 25 years. And I ensure you that if you are able to use this template, you will be able to build your own. this is way more difficult. All the settings that you have to do in a track with the plugins, have to do a lot with what you are connecting and levels to that particular Channel. $500 for a template? you got to be! kidding me!
Hi Jake. When running your tracks from ableton via Dante into the console, how did you get it to input Dante. We run a full 20 piece band and Dante for broad cast but we tried to run tracks via Dante and the console (m32) doesn't allow me to switch a channel individually for the tracks.
Hey bro! Really informative video and wanting to purchase this template soon. From the mix I hear, Could you give an overview on the reverbs and delays used in this template? As there was no mention of the reverb and delay plugins that I would need to own before purchasing the template. It would be helpful to get a full picture before investing in it.

We have an Allen & Heath QU24
Hey...what about real live streaming...would the pc/mac support processing all audio channels without significant delay? Let's say using a Mac connected via usb from x32
Luke walks you through all of this in his tutorial with the template. but yeah, for sure you can use it for real live streaming. There's a stream output track in the template that will send the master mix to where ever your streaming audio needs to go. I would recommend having a computer dedicated to just this purpose for the best workflow and stability.
My church runs an X32 and has been doing simulated live since Covid hit. We are going full live once we start gathering in person again. I’ve been running two aux buses left and right into two matrices and sending those to OBS via our ATEM Mini, but I’m afraid FOH mixing plus mixing stereo to two buses is going to be too much for volunteers. How bad would it be to run dual mono live - sending one aux send to both matricies? A lot of people are watching live on a phone anyway. Thought?

If we wanted to use this template for a live broadcast mix (for livestream), can I run it on the same computer we’re running OBS on? Our should the broadcast mix be on a separate computer?
Great video Jake! How did you get your Waves Real Tune plug-in to sync across all your vocalists at the same time? Haven’t been able to figure out how to do that yet!
Well... Good money making scheme for Luke, but I'm confident in my ability and knowledge to do all of that without a $500 course. That's what my audio engineering degree was for 🤷♂️ . Hey man, great video! Just wondering what specs computer your using to get this template running solid for live stream? Is there a minimum specs recommendation available? I’m running on Mac with Logic Pro X.
hey Jake! Great video as always, brother. Hey question for you or anyone here. So if we we're going to feed this session from Dante (coming from a Behringer Wing at FOH, to our broadcast studio, a hundred feet away), then process it through this pro tools session, and then send a stereo track back to the Wing through Dante, which ultimately would get sent straight to our video switcher and feed our stream--how would we monitor pro tools in the studio? In my experience with pro tools (we're running pro tools 12, by the way) your playback engine can't be different than your I/O, which in this case would be Dante. trying to come up with a solution other than spending a few grand on another piece of hardware.

teddy tigan you have to make another audio track and assign it to what bus you want. Then send all of your inputs to that bus. That’s what I did at least to get our church by.
There has to be a way to automate the auto tune plugin to change keys with ableton right? Jake you can figure that out for the rest of us.. haha. It’d be great to have ableton from one computer triggering the plugin parameters in another computer with the pro tools session
Matt Snyder I agree. I tried about a month ago but I couldn’t figure out how to configure the midi controls within the plugin in Pro Tools. Maybe I was looking in the wrong place!

Nice template bro, i have a question, what are the specs of your MAC, so you can run the entire session, with out any problem or latency?

In a similar scenario at our church, would love to know an answer for this as well!
Hey brother,
We are a church plant in NYC that is using multi-tracks on the playback app connected to a Berhinger X Air18 via usb (Since we don't have any musicians for now). We need a template that would be great for in house and broadcast that would help our vocals sound better. Also let me say- I am the pastor trying to do this with less than a novice knowledge when it comes to daws and mixing. Can you help me?
What interface do you use?
Hello Jake, Our church just went in on the template and it sounds amazing. thank you for the video to get a sense of what it could deliver. We however went with Waves Tune real time as you did because I had this in my collection already. Unfortunately I can't figure out how to lock or sync the multiple channel's Tune plugins together as you had in your post production sectioning this video. could you help please?
same here does anyone know
Daniel Joseph I found out that the function is a Pro Tools only feature.
Not sure can share the template? 😕
Great review! Quick question... How are you getting Waves Tune RT to sync key changes across instances?
Would love to know how this was done too as there was no mention of how it was done in the video.

Luke covers how to sync key changes in protools in the tutorial that comes with the template!
How did you create that masterburn track? I’m in the process of trying to do this, and can’t figure it out!
did you figure out????need help too
teddy tigan you have to make another audio track and assign it to what bus you want. Then send all of your inputs to that bus. That’s what I did at least to get our church by.
@@IceMike- how about waves real-time tune sync on vocal channels when assigning the key of a song
Hi Jake! What version of ProTools do i need? We are trying to by the Bethel templates for our church but are currently using Studio One.

Jake - I've found your videos really insightful.. I've been working to ramp up my church video and we're a similar size ~100-150 people... I've been using a single GH5 for one camera angle and am thinking about getting 3 BM Pocket Cinema 6k and the BM Switcher board. Would love to connect with you and pick your brain on a few things... any feedback you can share?
Random question, what color is your wall? Brand of paint? Love the vibe.
It looks like Flat/Matte Iron Ore or Black Magic from Sherwin Williams.
Do you need to have any experience with pro tools and know how eq works or how does that work ? Also is pro tools a monthly subscription ?

Would be cool if they offered a discount to those churches with limited budget during this time for the template.
Do u end up buying the template
Hey Jake, great video!!! I got a question regarding the buffer size. On what buffer size is the template for broadcasting? Is it high or low? Thank you for your time! God Bless Jeconia!

Do you need Dante to do this? I noticed you are using that but didn’t include it in the price breakdown, thanks!

Hey Jake, how would you suggest I get audio from my anolog mixer into an IOS device, I’ve tried different devices and they all give off really bad white noise.... hahaha help!
Could you help me. How did you get your audio into the template. For some reason I can’t get my mix on this template.
You can use Dante and switch the inputs on your DAW to matchup with your mixer.
Porque não tem esse tipo de conteúdo em Português??
I Would like to know how do you handle the audio latency coming out of the DAW into the switcher?
Me too. Luke mentions in a different video I saw that a video delay unit is needed but that seems to add a lot of complication
I hate the artifacting from waves tune. I might try Antares out
