I think this music video is inspired by the movie “Paper House” where whatever the girl draws happens in her dream. Paperhouse was also an inspiration for Amy Lee for the song Imaginary

Im not sure if you've maybe covered this in the past, but Blood Tears, Dust by Lacuna Coil has a music video for the single and a professionally recorded live version (I think the official live video is when theyre in Italy?) -- that woman has a crazy good voice, like gives you goosebumps just like Amy Lee. I also like to pretend that song is about the plot of Game of Thrones which makes the live performance that much cooler lol.
She'd done this song it seems a million ways. None is better than the studio version. None of the other are bad in anyway. It's just the studio version is the best version. It showcases all of that amazing voice. The belt near the end is special. The feathery vocal start. The studio version shows why Amy should have the vocal cords cast in gold. Amy wrote it for the harp. I kill to hear that version. The way the piano sounds in parts you can almost hear the harp sound cords in it.

I do like the Melody of MHIB but I hate its lyrics cause it seems to me a teenager level. Two curiosities about the inspiration of this song: Amy wrote it inspired by an organization that deals with violence against women; the video was inspired by a movie called Paper House (which I do love it so!).
I have to admit, I also had a hard time hearing the piano early on. Maybe that was on purpose narratively? Like the piano melody represented the hope, so it got louder overtime? Just a wild guess to be honest. As for the short trumpet notes in the Synthesis version, those may be accents or perhaps staccato, but I'm not sure. It's been forever since I was in band so I forgot a lot of the terminology XD. You can hear Jen if you focus at certain times, especially when you see her in the background you can tell when she's singing.Also, just a reminder (not sure when the last time I posted a reminder) to perhaps react to Evanescence's "Disappear". Both the studio version and the Live at The Paramount (Huntington, NY in 2016) if you don't mind, but either is fine if you just want to do one. If you can do the the live one, you'll definitely hear Jen singing back up vocals. Welcome back to Evanescence by the way!

The harp duet in the synthesis version is actually between Amy and her Harp Teacher (not the harpist in this video)
