I have this die, and it is hard to appliqué because it is so small and curvy. I also have the second die for this. It is also very cute and you can make a girl gnome with it. Loved this demo.
Accuquilt dies and Big Shot Dies are different heights (thicknesses). I believe one of the sets of dies could potentially fit in the other's machine, with shims. But I have never done it. And I don't know which die it was that could possibly fit in which machine... but this specific die (the log cabin) would be too wide to fit in a big shot, even if it wasn't too tall. You need an Accuquilt GO! Or GO! Big. ❤️
I invented it! You can order it from your local Quilt Shop, or you can pre-order for September delivery here: carolinamoorepatterns.com/collections/notions/products/6-1-2-x-24-carolina-moore-glow-ruler
@@CarolinaMoore I checked my local sewing store and they don’t have it. I seem to recall seeing it at Road To California but not positive! I’m not sure if I need it and would like to see it in person before I purchase one as it is on the expensive side for rulers!
If your store does special-orders, they could special order it from their distributor. It was at Road to California, in the "My Girlfriend's Quilt Shop" booth. ❤️
Unfortunately, UA-cam cuts off shorts after 60 seconds. Some folks really love the quick glimpse at how a project goes together, and for some it goes too fast. I do have a lot of normal-speed videos, and several on making zippered pouches. That should help. ❤️
These are really cute gnomes!
So cute,,love

Do the AccuQuilt dyes work with the Big Shot?

I have the die, I found it difficult to appliqué so I am very interested in this “how to”.
It is small, and a little fussy... but I love it. ❤️
Where do you buy that Glo ruler?

@@CarolinaMoore -L❤️VE the Glow ruler. Wish I could afford one. 😔
I wish I could bring the price down! But they're incredibly expensive to manufacture... I don't think the price will ever be lower than it is now.

Sorry Carolina, I tried watching your short video on the zippered Gnome pouch. However, you went way to fast for me to understand the process.
