Beautifully played. May I ask, what is the quick ornamentation/ rolls of notes called please? In the first few bars and beyond. I would like to know how to do this technique. I recently learned the tune. Took a while. Fiddly little number. Hard to search for that technique. Thanks.

Thank you! It’s been a long time, I hope I would play it better by now! This page calls that ornementation the "cut": www.fiddlingaround.co.uk/ireland/irishfiddling.html
On the mandolin I just do it as a quick hammer-on (on the higher note) followed by a quick pull-off (back to the initial note). It can be nice to also actually pick these notes instead of doing hammer-on/pull-of.

What kind of pick are you using?

It was probably the Dunlop Primetone Triangle Sculpted Plectra (1.5mm), now I'm using a BlueChip CT55, same shape, different material, much higher price.

Right on. Thank you very much. (I am a Blue Chip user myself.) Do you have a string preference? (brand, gauge, etc?) Playing is awesome by the way.

Thank you! I use D'Addario strings, usually EXP74 (medium gauge), and currently the new Nickel Bronze strings. I tried EXP75 and 74CM as well but I'm not sure I can tell the difference between all of these. It looks like some people's ears are more sensible to strings differences while others are more sensible to picks, I belong to the latter category :)
