- Join me as I walk around the downtown area of Dumaguete City, the capital of Negros Oriental province in the Philippines. I will show you some of the historical and cultural landmarks of this charming city, such as the Quezon Park, the St. Catherine of Alexandria Cathedral, the Campanario de Dumaguete, and the Bureau of Immigration office. I will also share some interesting facts about Dumaguete City, which is known as the City of Gentle People.

Most noticeable is the cleanliness of the streets and sidewalks. These make the city very presentable even if the sidewalks do not appear even or uniform. Very nice video.

I lived there for 6 years in Lower Lukewright Street. Then another almost 4 years working with BPO. Happy to watch Robinson's Place because it's near my work before at the IT park. I've been to Dumaguete a few times. I basically liked it, but it was a little loud especially for a small city, and there wasn't much to do. I liked Cebu City better. It was much more cosmopolitan.
