    As kids we used to call it Kari Podi as most ingredients were blackened.

    Sundakai vathal, Manathakkali vathal and Neem flower are the primary ingredients in this recipe so cherished for its non conforming taste and exceptional health benefits. Take it on an empty stomach to aid probiotics health and to fight any ameobic issues. Perfect food for day after ekadeshi.

    dear Mami the way you explain the steps necessary for the recipes are like narrating a story.so lovely..shows your experience.iam not able to eat spicy food for the past few years, can't include a pinch of chilly.feeling like hell.tried allopathy and ayurveda treatment.no cure.what can I do? is there anything to give remedy for this.can I avoid chilly in this powder? please give some remedy for me Mami. respect and regards, Jayashree.

    Super Mami, me and husband love Angaya podi. Post my delivery when I had no one to look after me, my mother had parceled me this podi, so I used to have this rice morning and evening... thanks for sharing this recipe Mami.

    Hello Ganesh and my humble Namaskaram to your mom Mrs. Gita Iyer. I have been living in Canada since 1976, six years in Manitoba and for the last thirty seven years in Edmonton. I am thoroughly enjoying the cooking demonstrations and interesting conversation between you and your mom. I have come from a big family. I relate every single anecdote that your mom shares whether it is making Gulab jamun from 'khoya' when she was making Theratti Paal or making Paruppu Podi. I remeber my mom used to make Angaya Podi for all of my sisters as post pregnancy 'marundu' for the first three months once or twice a week. Unfortunately I couldn't taste this as my two children were born in Canda in 1979 and 1981. I am curious where you obtained 'Vepam poo' , 'Marthangali kai', and 'Shundakkai'. Please let me know. I feel so familiar with you two and sometimes seeing your dad on the video that it will be my pleasure if you all visit me and my family in Edmonton. Thank you again and all the best with your productions.
