What mouthpiece is he using. Do u happen to know his setup
I don't know if it's changed since this recording, but he uses a custom Beecher with a ishimori woodstone lig
Beechler, Rubber (custom made for Alex)
He was using a pretty closed Beechler diamond backed hard rubber piece. He has since switched to a custom Bellite with a larger tip opening.
The old piece was around a B26 with a 5 opening.
Don’t imagine for one second that you’ll get his sound with a mouthpiece. It won’t even get you in the ball park. He sounds the way he does because of technique. The mouthpiece has very very little to do with it.
