You can swap the buttons by holding the pair down. Eg hold up and down to switch the direction to driving forwards will with up!

The cable (rope) should run over the roller at the top of the crane arm, then it will probably cause less problems.

Mould King, like many other MOCs, simply stole this set and virtually only converted it to modern radio technology.
Unfortunately (or fortunately) Mould King makes some mistakes during such actions or the quality is not always sufficient, which then causes problems.
Fortunately I have the original 42009 (not yet built) and I will try to rebuild it, because I have more than enough ACCUBOXES from Mould King and CADA and their engines and they are not that expensive.

You can't have both crane and wheel motors on at the same time so like the remote only turn the motor on for either the drive or crane and check your line as you definitely have it wrong or using a different type of line can help too. Thinner lines work well.
