Yeah give it a go. White tends to desaturate the colours, but yellow keeps the saturation and brightens it up, can of course still use a bit of white to brighten. Try a simple lemon yellow, that mixes really well with most colours
Thank you for the video. Picked up a set of Kimera paint at the Scale model challenge this month, so the timing is perfect. The horn looks great, nice contrast. Cheers!
Wonderful! They are great paints I love the finish. But there is a learning curve to them for sure. In fact as I learnt here there's a learning curve to each of the colours as its pure pigments they all act slightly differently.
Yellow is a real work horse! As well as being good to add as highlights I’ve found it works well underlaying greens, reds, browns, golds, oranges, flesh and so on, particularly if working on a white or grey prime. ie spray white, do a yellow layer then paint red or green on top.
Nice painting 💕💕
Thank you so much 😀
Good Painting!
Thank you very much!

Thank you for the nice comment :), have a great day too
Great paint job. Will have to try the yellow mix for highlights.

Oh thats an interesting idea, I've heard of doing pink under yellow, but never considered an undercoat of yellow, I might give that a go
@@hobbyit works especially well with red contrast paints over yellow. Almost creates that pre-mesbg red era brightness.
