Neat video! Sadly I have no idea why Wrens are also called Jennies. Would be neat to know. I was wondering though how a nest that is on a chain (and can thus sway in the breeze) be alright with a Wren. Would there be a benefit to somehow securing one so it doesn't move around? Or would the Wrens not care?
We had a Wren house hanging on our deck and they seemed fine with the movement - returning year after year. I think they may prefer the security of no having something other critters can climb right beneath them? But not an expert by any means 🙂
Thank you for your video, we have a wren and think he is nesting Under the roof in the corner of our summer house as he frequents but don’t want to disturb and frighten her. We did put a made up tits nest but nothing this year. I wondered what they ate it seems they like ants and insects. Once again thank you.
Seems the best place is in a box of old sheets in my screen room. Now I can't clean it out until the little family is gone.
Steven Cupples that is cool to hear

Did you make this wren nest box?
Hi my father did. These two halves fit together precisely. He is a woodworker and turns bowls and does carvings on youtube.

Bad idea during storms those nests become their cemetery.
I haven’t had any issues yet. What do you suggest?
@@henryboyoutdoors4869 fix them solidly on pillars. If fixing on trees don't use nails or screws to poke the tree. Instead use rope or band.
Have any info on getting rid of the house wrens they kill in all of my other boxes I can’t stand the little bird
