The European ladders trucks all look strange to me. There more or less a ladder or bucket on a truck like a construction crane. Not much too them, compared to American or Canadian ladder truck, full of equipment and different length ladders.
Thats true there isn't much equipment on them... they're only used to rescue people from higher places and fight fire from above... thats it. The way they are build they are very flexible... they can move the ladder into very tight place or below the surface the ladder is standing in on
So what happened to start engine, then open doors? Bit embarrassing if pump doesn't start! A lot slower than I remember, but I suppose the older I get, the better it was.
the average for London is expected to be below 1 minute. Depends on the call type. The average for the FDNY/most american departments looks to be about 3-4 minutes.
spongebob7285 The Turn out tones are use to help Firefighters out of their sleep at night. A more mellow sound than a loud start of the older Bells. Older smoke eater Fireman suffered heart attacks brought on by the sudden waking out of a sleeping at fire station over a number of year's serving.
spongebob7285 it was an old mechanical bell which as you probably read led to fire fighters having heart attacks so they changed them however there's a station in my brigade which still has the bell and it does give you a fright if we get a shout when we go to standby there
Driver is 'Double busy' proper Cockney walk there! LOL cool vid m8.

Which station?
201etrainz Soho
This Station has two speeds slow and stop. They should be quicker at coming out the station

anybody know what that is that pops out the side when the engine is turned on. Some sort of power source?
Battery Charger for the main Pump Batteries.
Jet Head battery charger so the battery is always fully charged
No seatbelt
Hello City of London fire Brigade capital London Ronny City of Königs Wusterhausen germany bey.

Funny fire trucks
It's the standard style for long established countries with narrow streets and limited space, no room for the massive North American style engines.
We use a similar style in our cities in Australia,,it’s just more practical
Why use that horn sound for dispatch?
