I think those were tombow markers, a black and a blender. They are waterbased, Dave says somewhere that any water based product can be faded with water, like a watercolors.
The paper he's using is actually watercolor paper. The brand is arches, hot press 140lbs color of the cover of the pad is red. It's expensive but yields great results and takes color and really brings out the pigment.
Its been shot already, but we both do a lot of travelling and have been finding it hard to get together to put the finishing touches to it. Hopefully soon though.
In this video he's using prismacolor, copic, utrecht, sharpie, and I think I saw a fine tip faber-castell. More than anything I'd like to know which he's using for specifically what. Markers have a tendency to pick up pigment and smear it, especially blacks.
hey I'm pretty sure the colour markers he uses are called copic markers... they are amazingly pricey i saw some today they cost $400 for 36 markers but ebay is cheaper

It is probably layout paper... I use it with alcohol marker too and it seems to be the same but not sure ;)
