it's a masterpiece and the more you wear it the more you realize it. the quality stands out for me because a scent like this could easily be synthetic AF but this isn't, at all. top quality-the nose knows!

Living my best life wearing Layton Exclusif, don't really care whether some elitist approves of it more than regular Layton or not, I just enjoy the drydown a lot and feel really good wearing it, plus my area being pretty cold most of the year lends itself pretty nicely to its scent profile. OG is really nice too though, gives off a different vibe, brighter, more floral and sweeter, can imagine myself wearing it in spring and summer so I might get a bottle at some point.

For some season I smelled a mixture of vanilla, apple & cherry. Smells a little like Late Harvest by Fort & Manle but without the tobacco. And it last FOREVER! I sprayed it on my football jersey on week 1, (I don’t wash my jerseys until the end of the season because I only wear them on gamedays… go Steelers) it was still there the next 2 weeks!

I have Sedley and Carlisle, and I've been debating on whether or not I should get Layton.
I think a teenager could pull off Layton. I don’t think it’s a daytime wear to school though. It’s a good fragrance to wear outdoors to Fall night football game. Just two sprays would work well I think.
In my fragrantica review i called Layton the best sweet designer profile i've ever smelled. Its not a "niche" scent per say (its not edgy or peculiar is what i mean). Honestly if you want a fragrance that smells incredibly good, interesting yet mass appealing then i don't think that you can find something better then Layton.
I personally picked Layton Exclusif but honestly im questioning that decision now.
I also went down the rabbit hole of fragrances myself but now im at the point of just wanting to smell good without being weird or obnoxious.
Just as you pointed out, the internet is NOT real life. Lately i imagined if a relative or an aquaintance would go through my collection and smell my perfumes they would find more then half my humble collection simply unpleasant. Sure, we wear scents for ourselves but lets drop the whole "edgy teenager mentality" and stop lying that we don't care how we are perceived. Im at the point of trying to balance out my collection by having appealing scents and also unique creations i wear for myself. Balance is key in everything.
2 sprays I wouldn’t smell an hour in, even with Layton. I’d have to put my nose right up on it. Forget it if I’m driving to a gig and I’m singing 3 sets. That would barely make it on the drive there with this humidity here in South Florida.
On another note, you’re dead on about Layton Exclusif, it smells like someone took one of my bottles of Layton and went and played with it in the dirt. Best way I can put it.

I heard that newer batches dont have that minty opening anymore, also that it’s not as strong anymore? The older barches have 78% alcohol I think…
Ok, just copped a bottle from this recent PDM sale. The scent is beautiful, I have a 2023 batch so it’s the 82% and it doesn’t project for me really at all. I’m so bummed, I got it for a good price but I wish I could have experienced the OG’s performance. How do you find the performance to be and what is your batch/year?

Tried my new batch but seems a bit weak and use 6 sprays already. Is it normal projection is only goes 1-2 hrs max and become become very close to you for another 2 hours then become almost gone and become skin scent? I really like this perfume but I find it a bit weak but they says its good though I get my perfume at a trusted retail shop who sells authentic perfumes. Thanks!
I personally do not like Layton, I think more women prefer Layton over men. There’s something about the menthol, which I don’t like.
