This is so On Point!!! Except I feel like geldings are just as forward and workaholics as mares, except mares some days decide they don't feel like it and go on strike...
@@Floofertyeah, like my mare, sometimes she is my best friend and follows me around, other times she literally charges at me with her ears flat back and nostrils flared threatening to run me over. The worst she's done is bite me, however, she has a very...nippy...reputation.
The "that feels good" is so true. My mare never shows any signs of liking being pet, anywhere. But she does show when she hates it. It's either "ok, whatever" or "I will rip your head off", no in between.
I know a mare who would act like this unless you scratched the inside of her ear. Then she would practically fall into your hand. I often used it to trick her into letting me put the bridle on. Lol
I know a mare who was notorious for not show anything. I was scratchinch her itchy spot on neck, she forgot that ladies don't show emotions and was almost melting. Then she remembered "Wait, I don't like it", pinned her ears and walked away 🤣
0:53 so on point with that! Yesterday I moved a dressage block and it left a imprint in the sand of a triangle and my throughbred gelding freaked a few times at it. Triangles are such monsters!
Our gelding never had a problem with such things, the real problem was that he always wanted to jump things😅 and it didn't got better when he was 28😅 sadly he passed the rainbow bridge in january and we now have 2 mares, even though we searched for geldings🤔
I am a lifelong horseless horse lover and just started volunteering at a cowboy church that has horses for their members to ride. When I realized that ALL their horses were geldings, I asked why. This video pretty well summed up what they explained to me. Your version is more enlightening and humorous! Thanks! I'm loving your videos.
Soooo true! I have 2 mares and love how serious and straight thinkers they are. Owned a gelding in the past and he couldn’t figure out why I wanted to turn barrels cause he just wanted to go for a walk and look at everything ugh! This is a very funny video great job 👏🏻 I loved it 🥰
Mares : The Sassy ones Geldings: The ones who are terrified of everything and always want to be friends Stallions: The ones who feel really brave but they are accually not
The stallions we have at university all act tought in front of the ladies but at the same time freak of the swallows that have been nesting there SINCE THEY WERE COLTS.
I usually had luck with good behaved stallions, but sometimes there were hilarious situations. Some stallions were jealous at me that I am around mares, so there were those decent (they never tried to hurt me) notices like trying to push me away or nibble like "Hey, those are MY mares, bub!". Of course I never let it to extremes, so I always just slapped his cheeky mouth or pushed back "No, not gonna happen!". That was it, he got the message and we were friends again. It´s funny he looked at me as competition. Another funny thing is, when a stallion tried to bully me, mares who enjoyed my scratching just come around and shooed away him like "Hey, that´s MY human, GET OUTTA HERE!", but of course, it was either alpha mare or those above that stallion. He just stood there and look at us "Hey, that´s unfair" and in the end he was glad I paid him attention after that. Those were hilarious times! xD
This is so true and hilarious 😂 I rode a very obedient mare before though and you wouldn't even have to pull her to walk her and she might've even followed you around, you also barely would have to kick her to get her in a trot while riding! She was so sweet
I have literally watched this particular video at least 30 times, and it STILL makes me laugh (out loud!) Your site is "my happy place..." Thank you so much!
Okay this is so relatable. My mare always runs like a fire, my horses have arabian blood, wich explains their tail rising habit, she is so energetic I can't explain. My gelding on the other hand is lazy as hell, he doesn't want to gallop and when he does he throws us. My mare is calm sweetheart that loves ear and head scratches and loves treats, my gelding uhhh he is stubborn grumpy dude who only wants treats, but he is so dedicated to her, he never left her when carriages pass trough he only stays beside her and when she gave birth to Lil colt, he became protective as her, even standing between her and new stallion we got for her, when she is tired and wants to be alone, Lil one goes to him, walking with him and even playing with him sometimes, but he is grumpy a bit so he finds comfort with donkey we have and plays With him. He is truly a father of the year, a blessing ❤ 1:42 ps This is opposite tough in my case, he knows to get really agressive when it comes to food, so my mare, donkey and colt keep distance before their turn 😂
Where I ride, there was a mare who stuck her foot through the gate at feeding time and rattled it. She'd bent the hinges and gotten slightly stuck a couple times. Eventually she was swapped with a different mare who wasn't keeping her weight where she was, and they're both much happier.
Lol I just love your personality so much and your openness to put this out there! If you get any haters I hope you can just shake it off and be proud to be you. You’re awesome!
I love this video!! I’ve watched it over and over it’s just so funny, and true! I love the funny voice you used for the gelding! You should do a part two 😁
Very Funny, love the onesie :) I have a gelding and the wife has a mare. No reason it just happened that way. I can so relate to all of your all of your examples. The gelding is my buddy and the mare wants to be the boss. Luckily my wife knows what she is doing and I’m just the newbie.
I love this! I laughed a lot and had to pause it bc I couldn't stop giggling. The part where you came up to Pepper to sniff her and you kicked and squealed at her was definitely my favorite part. And I enjoy your other funny videos a lot and they entertain me but this has to be one of the funniest. Just the part where the mare got spooked by the ball-- the way you walked had me cracking up.😂🐴🐎🦄
this is so true cause i have a mare and gelding and the gelding always wants attention and love, the mare is just come on lets ride get this over with and u better feed me. But she can be sweet but hides emotions just like u did in the video.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 omg it's true!!!!!! I had a lead mare and quarter mare that did nudge me for more pets but in general it's spot on!!! Please do stallions and mares. 😄
There are a couple mares where I ride and they are lazy like Geldings omg they are hilarious but the "that feels good but I will not show any emotion" thing and the "hey get away from me" thing is so on point
Omg you make these the funniest ever😂 this maybe helps to decide which one to get : mare or gelding, if its really like that (i dont work with horses so i dont know)
I know you didn't ask,but in my opinion geldings are probably the best for new horse owners. Mares can be hard to deal with sometimes, but not every mare is like that.
And then stallions are the embodiment of these super buff guys with an insanely deep voice thay when you touch them with a cold hand scream like a little girl.
The mares at our school have a certain charm to them, such that when you've been assigned one for two weeks & the time comes for her to move onto the next person on the rota, you can't help but feel a little bit possessive.
the "my human" part is so true! my mare has been shooing horses away from me since she was really young. it's a nightmare trying to get another horse out of the paddock!
At the barn I ride at, there used to be a gelding named Matrix (rip I loved him so much) and he and his stall neighbor Jagger would stick their heads over their stalls and start shit with any geldings in the cross ties. They were like a gang lmao. There is another horse named Fangio and his stall neighbor is his wife Sophie (Darjeeling) and they are much more chill but if a gelding goes in the cross ties and is facing Sophie, Fangio becomes a bully and nips at them so you have to make their butt face Sophie so Fangio doesn’t catch them making goo-goo eyes at his woman.
This is so On Point!!! Except I feel like geldings are just as forward and workaholics as mares, except mares some days decide they don't feel like it and go on strike...
I was thinking the same 😁
The first one with the gelding is very true for my big boy
Yeah I think the workaholic/lazy horse completely depends on the horse. Mare or Gelding it just depends on the individual.
Same. everything except for one thing is totally on point with my boy

@svenjaasahi7266 same for us. I specifically set out to get geldings and I have 2 mares😂
You don’t understand tho! They are so evil!!

The squealing at the other horse fucking sent me because it’s so accurate 😂😂
That was so perfect and hilarious! That has to be your mom as you look so much alike. Thanks for the morning laughs!
So cute how the actual horses reacted. Shows that the owners really get their body language, i think!
1:44 Love how Bella and Pepper are just looking like: "What is the human doing?"
"This feels good...but I'm not gonna show any emotion." Arggg that is the truest thing I have heard in a long time!!
i have never seen a horse wearing a tie and walks on two legs 😄and looks gorgeous !
This is so funny! I love how the gelding wears a tie.
That's exactly how they are 😂 Can you do a "Before Owning a Horse Vs After" ?
Yessssssssss please!!!!!!
Oh that would be great!!!
OMG that would be so cool😍

That was hysterical. You should do a series, and add a stallion to it.
1:08 stop why is that so perfect the noise too just like my 8 year old mare
I love how youre wearing crocs in a field yes go girl
crocs are goated
Love it! Esp that squeal kick when the grey just noped right out of there
Stallions meanwhile:okay we can work, I'm so filled up with energy to work... IS THAT A MARE?!
This is so true and hilarious 😂 I rode a very obedient mare before though and you wouldn't even have to pull her to walk her and she might've even followed you around, you also barely would have to kick her to get her in a trot while riding! She was so sweet
I love how this is kind of spunky and odd, yet pure and accurate! Harsh pranks on the internet are personally overrated. Keep up the good work!m

This is so funny!!! Thanks for starting my day off with a laugh out loud!!!
Laughed my way through my break at work today, thanks to you! Your funny videos are priceless... You are definitely my kind of human.
Best part by far was the fact she did it all in crocs 🤣🤣🤣

my gelding who acts like a mare and my friends mare that acts like a stallion:
we are not the same
Mares: competitive, strong, bully
Geldings: lazy, funny, kind (ish)
This is exactly how they behave! We have a two geldings at our stables, and he always bangs the gate with his hoof when it’s food time!

The fact that she’s running around with a horse suit on is hilarious the things people do for their viewers these days is to much

I love your videos and I ride horses to and I am English to your videos are so funny. Keep it up.

This is SO accurate and one of the reasons why I prefer geldings over mares
lost my shit on this exact part
If I’m getting a horse, it’ll be a gelding 😅
I don't know a lot about horses so this was very entertaining to watch.
I love that it’s all done in crocs 😂
I can just hear the other borders at the stable like "Janice! She's at it again..." 🤣🤣

i had to laugh a lot there :) we just happen to care for a mare and a gelding that are exactly like that, well at least most of it :)

Love the videos and love when you do comparisson ones.
this is why when i get my first horse I want a sassy mare because theyre really funny and if I get a second a gelding
This was really funny!!
