For the last seven minutes, I was lost in time. Very relaxing....it was like "Take me away Calgon" but it was real. Another best video!!! Thanks for sharing this with all of us.
@@ToyManTelevision Wasn't the price for the bridge 10 cents? Slim Pickens said "somebodies going to have to go back and get a sh%t load of dimes" !! May have seen it a FEW times lol
Every time you showcase Steve Stribel's layout, it always is like seeing it for the first time. Of course, that is due in part to something new always in the works and having been added. It never gets old! But even if nothing changes or is changed, it always seems like receiving a present when you showcase the layout. Not to leave out, your sound and video work though, is what brings it to life and makes one just wish a person could literally step into that fantastic world! Wonderful! Many thumbs up!
THANKS. Do share! There will be an article coming out in the Narrow Gauge Gazette soon on yet another village, this one at Pandora. And a show on that as soon as Bob runs the Article. He may be holding it for Christmas.
Brilliant. Always love your visits to Steve's layout, partly as I'm modelling waterfront on my layout, but mainly because it's just so darn good. Thanks for filming it and putting it up for all to see
What a great growing model railroad. I've seen your previous posts on Steve's railroad, and I must say it gets better and better. Dale, it does look really neat in night mode. Thanks once again.

It's just amazing.... A new part is going in now. A "sky city" on top a a support beam. (the layout is in an old (1880?) barn converted to a house in a about 1940.
How beautiful! I really enjoy night time scenes, day and night still beautiful. that would be a fun BIG toy to have, I now have the idea of a small layout I'm gonna do with a junky Bachman train set that a friend hooked me up with, and lots of cars and scenery, and only for $75! he said if he wasn't great friends with my family it would have been close to $350!
By the way Dale, I see your former employer has folded. I was an avid photographer when I was younger, and subscribed to all the magazines of the day. They were touted as one of the best schools back in the late 60s and into the 70s. Too bad they are gone, but maybe you can feel better about your retirement. As you commented below, BEST THING TO EVER HAPPEN TO YOU!
The people there at the end have lost their severance, students out millions. So messed up. So glad I'm not there. When greed passes for smart... But I was able to spend 3 years with my mother and brother before they both passed. Started the channel which is where I met Karyn, she is now my whole life. Started the studio, took over the family business, rebuilding the "old shop" with the fun products I used to sell, Soon back on the market. So wow, not just the best thing that ever happened, the best thing I could even imagine. Sad to see Brooks go. Such great people! The best of the best. Photographers with Pulitzers. Film makers with many Emmy's and Oscar nods. Cellebs like Jeff Bridges and John Cleese. Became close friends with the Clintons personal photographer. Yet leaving was still the best thing that ever happened to me.
I'm torn on this layout. It's an amazing model setup but part of me thinks the trains disappear into the background too much for me. It's still the most beautiful model village I've ever seen even if I don't like it as a railroad.
Steve like structures more I think, yet there are many trains moving about too. The NEWIST part is a huge bridge to a new place about 8 feet above the floor. On a beam. TOTALLY WEIIRD!!!

I love the night and other "dark" shows. So fun to figure out lighting! A hint of moon... This part of Steve's is SO GOOD TOO.
I love that blazing saddles reference from 5:11, it just adds that much more character to the layout!
FUN. Love that movie!!

Amazing place. Working on a long form video on it. But he builds faster than I edit!!
Amazing! Love the lighting effects.

You need to come by sometime and see Steve's. Love to see what you come up with. And don't bring firecrackers!!
Haha, I won't but that sounds great! I would love to see it!
I'll ask Steve.
Hey Dale and, Karen it remind you Blazzin Saddles in 1974 cause I was,two years old when this movie came out
Every time you feature this layout it is better than the last. If this keeps up Steve is going to be giving the f&sm guys a run for their money.
So true!!! The railroad will be on the National Convention for the NMRA in 2019. By then......

Will there be an update for this area on the O Scale Guys website?
Not sure how to. Oops. I used old software to build that, not sure how to update that. Hum... Need to figure that out!

It's more like a model village with trains on it That's fine though. The village is the prettiest thing.
Next weeks show is also like that... But at some point there will be trains on this "layout".
