Played EVE back in 2003 and for years had one of the highest skilled char in game, i once won in 2005 10'000 Snowball rocket's ( it was a x-mass event);). I had tons of fun with this game, and i did love my Vindicator and Deimos
IIISentorIII how long since you’ve last played lad, the game has gone through monumental changes (for instance if you left under dominion era sov, titans have aoe doomsday’s again only they are targeted and actually require a brain to use).
Man I love those Triglavian ships, nearly makes me want to play EVE again, but pretty much all my friends stopped playing it so I did quit too back then.

Great video! I find a lot of eve online content on UA-cam is hard to watch due to extreme tactical view's and a lack of explanation. But this was ace. Would love to see some alpha clone videos as that's all I have time to play these days. Keep it up!
I agree that most eve videos of simple game-play are not a pleasure to watch! lol
Most of what makes Eve interesting happens on the cerebral plane, so it is indeed nice to have someone illuminate it in more tangible terms.
Considering they're both destroyers and come from a mysterious faction I think it's a distant relative of the Progenitor Keeper - which is my favourite ship in gaming :)

I was kinda surprised by that size comparison. The Kiki always felt/looked like a frigate when playing with it.

To me, the kiki is perfect for killing fighters and taking down carriers. The Leshak is perfect for super carriers. 3 kiki's can take a carrier. 3 Leshaks can take a super. (With the memisis implants).
Kikimora is not so OP when you blast it with 2x neuts :D just killed one in my Dragoon with alpha account.
Yeah he was a bad for getting within neut range to begin with ...
The kiki did it wrong since he can outrun you and the dragoon only has 15km neut range unless you put faction neuts on it.
@@williamnicholson8133 how can he outrun me if he is scrammed? He was not so bad but i just slingshoted his orbit and put him under scram . i think everyone just underestimates dragoons :D and get to close
@@ZND014 you just answered your own question "his orbit" if he was a decent pilot and paying attention he would have been manual piloting, hitting orbit is too easy to counter.

Apparently small blaster tracking at 27km (with more dps than most small blaster ships too) is considered "good but not great" ... yeah no, this thing is overpowered as fuck.

They do all bridge functions alone , larger ships in eve still have normal crew in the lore
In the lore of EVE, players use characters called capsules which are neurologically linked with their ships, allowing then to control anything from the smallest interceptor to the enormous titans with their minds
I have flew a Kikimora before in null sec and its beautiful and has a strong armour and weaponry machinery
If I ever start playing this game, I'm gonna main the Kikimora. Just hope it doesn't get nerfed

Already retired from EVE, I was piloting the Megathron, which has become my favorite, but I know, one day that my shit will be kicked in, I know I'll fall back to my Vexor, cheap, versatile, and reliable. Or my Algos, which is still good if I'm strapped for cash

Kikis are op compared to other destroyers, but I kinda wish its stats were the standard for all dps oriented destroyers. T1 destroyers are pretty much useless for solo/small gang outside of fw plexes, and ever since the introduction of assault damage controls and the buff to assault frigates I don't really feel like flying T3Ds anymore. Kikimora is the only destroyer I enjoy using nowadays. The only thing I would nerf its the tracking. You said the tracking is not "great" but disintegrators track better than neutron blasters. If you check, the Kiki tracks better than an Incursus while having 40+ km range. That's hilariously broken.
43 km with Barion ammo with excellent tracking. I've been using this ship lately. I love it and am training to 5 so I can try the T2
I was using a blaster fit Catalyst but the tank is garbage compared to the Kiki and once spooled I max out at 607dps with the 3% implant, one t2 heatsink, and the faction disintegrator. I'm still waiting on destroyer 5 for it to max out the DPS a little more as well.
The Triglavian ships got the best designs, better than caldari

8:14 thats what i use for solo pvp most of the time, as long as its fast. I used it badly here against a slasher waiting for me in a FW complex. Had I setup to attack or defend at range slasher would be dead.

I think a heavy messile web loki will murder this ship with a faction web and overheating mwd it can catch this ship and kill it or that pirate cruiser wirh scram bonus its very fast and has quite some dakka
Enyo can be quite nice to and if a ship like daredevil is in web range then you are fucked
Web and arty loki will certainly murder it, if the webs are on it. Its not a mary sue ship.

@@xellotathtier2356 aside from the fact that I can list about a dozen matchups where frigs will typically be favored (see tristan vs thrasher for instance, slasher vs coercer etc), Destroyers are slow, vulnerable to cruisers and unable to keep up with frigs, the kikimora can solo alot of cruisers and even battle cruisers, travels at frig speeds, has superior tracking and vastly superior projection. Only T3D's come close and even then they themselves are too slow to hold down a frig(when t3ds were fast enough to hold down and kill frigs easily, they were considered overpowered and later nerfed, the same condition has occurred with a singular ship). Your engagement range with a kiki is literally everything with a range shorter then 40km, no other destroyer can do that in the current meta without a giga bling fit.
@@davianthule2035 Non T3Destroyers being slower than a lot of cruisers is one of the reasons why they're useless outside of fw plexes. Kiki can't solo any cruiser with projection. Caracal (any RLML ship really), Stabber, Cynabal, Omen Navy, Rail Vigilant, etc any non brawling cruiser really will kill it. As for the brawler cruisers you can kill them with T3Ds too. Beam Confessor can kill blaster Thorax or a Vexor or a short range BCs without MJDs like a hull tanked Brutix, etc.
Kikis are indeed op, but saying they're oppressive to frigates is kinda dumb, since thats what's destroyers are for. Frigates can't kill destroyers of the same "style". Like yes a Slicer can kill a blaster Catalyst by kiting it, but it will eat shit against a rail Cormorant. A blaster Incursus will kill a rail sniping Cormorant, but it will die if engages a blaster Catalyst at 0.
