- "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns N' Roses is one of the most popular rock songs ever made. But both the song and its album originally faltered. Part of the reason for that is because their music video did not play on primetime on MTV. So for todays Music Video Time we'll be talking about how the video was able to play on the channel and helped garner the band into becoming one of the biggest acts ever.
This is Music Video Time, a show dedicated to all things music videos. Please remember to like and subscribe and thanks for your time.

Nice history lesson
I remember chuckling at the piece of straw remaining in perfect condition fin that long bus ride.
I don’t really give a toss about this band, but you managed to make it interesting.
Thanks - and we’ll done as usual!
That straw was actually a synthetic made of carbon fiber
This is great!
Can’t understate how Steven Adler wearing the TSOL (Joe Wood version) shirt in the “Sweet Child O’ Mine” video and what that DID for them as a band.
❤❤❤❤❤
*_Also i saw them at the tower theater in pa.before they made it huge!_*
*_I ran out the next day after seeing the vid and got appetite on tape to play on my boom box. I moved to ft. Lauderdale soon after but before I left i tried to get my friends to listen to it and they hated it but after I was down in Fla for awhile and came back up here to Delaware all my friends were into GNR like they always liked them. I still laugh when a couple friends say they heard them first. Pfft, anyway long live GNR!!!_* 👊🏻💀🤘🏻
I don't know how they got Duff, Steven and Axl (specially Axl) to do the 80's big hair for the video, they never looked like that aside from this and only this. Specially Axl, who had his signature bandana and straight hair look from the get go
Do you have any further details/ reference for the footage taken from Israel? Thanks
