If time wasn't a consideration I'd take a boat every time. What a way to learn more about local people and to interact with them. If you're trying to learn one of the many dialects you're not going to get much experience on a plane. I'd love to see this part of the Philippines but my Philippine family is still not convinced that it is safe. I'm hoping that with more exposure by people like @BecomingFilipino people will see the changes and I dare to think that the future holds something positive where the bad stuff becomes a distant memory. Respect to all.
2004 i was there in bongao tawi tawi.. 18 hours travel zamboanga to tawi tawi... Mv cristal jane pa ang nasakyan ko.. Magnda ang lugar at tahimik at saka ung pier nila malinaw.. i hope ill be back there i miss the seafoods and the place..💓💓💓
There's more to explore in Tawi-Tawi , the people ,the culture, the white beaches, the fishes and so much more . Tawi-Tawi is also the safest province in the Philippines. Good Job kulas and God Bless you!!!

Yes tawitawi is a nice island and good people over here but other people on visayas was say scared because have a pirates but not in here place you know tawitawi very peaceful place and they have fun ,I miss that place so much , you know last 2018 I'm staying on tawitawi almost 11 mouth as a seaman stay longer on that place in languyan minning ,two times in one month to go to bungao city is a beautiful place.
