There's a level up system in this, but when you buy the skills it doesn't appear to do anything. Before this video I got to level 8, and I bought light dash and Y doesn't light dash like the log says. Also it says super sonic is in the log file for inputs, but I couldn't get him to activate with 50 rings and pressing the Y. Just an FYI if you plan on playing. There's another Sonic Model underwater somewhere as well xD. This fangame is fire so far, but it needs a rotating camera desperately.
It's obviously rough in parts due to it being a tech demo, but it looks promising. Main points rn are: - The forced camera perspectives are a bit annoying in parts. - Grinding feels a tad slow. - Camera should be a bit farther away. - Could use a drift. - The odd bass kick needs to go
I actually think it has a drift, I see it in the log button as the trigger buttons. I just couldn't get it to work on my xbox360 controller for the life of me (for some reason). Edit: Meant to say drift not boost. lol
Nice gameplay. I hope this engine really takes off after it gets more updates and people mess with it. I just want more and more people to make levels for any Sonic engine, honestly.
This looks pretty damn cool so far, my only critique is the boost sound and hitting eggrobos seems a bit unimpactful maybe it's the sound or something, but something just feels off.
