I have now learned of the passing of John. He was truly an inspiration for me. I was diagnosed with emphysema a little over a year ago and I was looking for help dealing with this disease. I came across John's videos and watched every day. Peace and comfort to his family. Thanks for all your help

I really liked this guy. I struggle with really bad asthma and it was incredible seeing how active this guy was with much less lung function than myself. He’ll be missed.

Last summer my Parent passed away from COPD etc... It was a long gradual health decline, all the typical symptoms, thankfully with good Family/health system support. Sadly, some people fight this disease alone, some must go to retirement homes or long term care facilities. Thanks for sharing this story, you helped me better understand this horrible disease. RIP!
Really miss seeing uploads from John hope Gail and the boys and all his family and friends are doing ok and are coping with their loss and the pain of his loss is easing slightly sending them prayers and love

Stopping smoking is one of the hardest things to do. While I've cut down massively, I haven't quite stopped yet but I will. I discovered this channel today (7-7-2019). I'll certainly bookmark the channel and watch some more videos. Despite your passing I think you're still gonna' help people stop smoking for some time yet! Blessings.
