1:11, small correction. Its not part of original game but part of DLC Death on the Vistula. HG is a good divison.

You would think that with them being a Fallshirm divison their air selections would be better. Looking forward for the match video.
Florian is correct. This is actually classified as a panzer division and has nothing to do specifically with the head of the Luftwaffe other than his name. Air cover was not actually linked to a specific division, so it is more representative of the available resources on the front that this division was assigned to defend.
I’ve been hit by that sturmtiger, 3inft squads deleted and 2 more suppressed. I leant a valuable lesson
It does what it is designed to do. Erase things.
I love this division. I use it all the time. It might not always be the best, but it offers some serious flexibility in terms of.... anything you need. If it had panthers instead of tigers, it might be one of the best divisions in the game imo
It is a fun division. It’s a little to expensive overall to be one of the best divisions and it’s complete lack of air force definitely cuts down its punch. The panther is really not all that more effective than the tiger. I prefer the tiger actually cause of its cheaper cost, you can bring it in with one tick of b phase balanced income
@@atkpwrgaming Tiger E is 135 vs a Panther G for 150 right? Vet aside, the panther has a higher base ROF, higher front armor, APCR shells, AP shells that have more pen, higher base accuracy, and higher base suppression. You can usually upvet the panther in most situations anyways if need be. Just my opinion, I don't claim to be a pro or anything at the game :)
Herman goring is just like a mechanized division for me pz4 infantry also sturm tiger can 1 shot bunker in breakthrough

It's only useful for breakthrough mode, that is not very popular in the MP comunity. When one side is attacking and the other is defending with bunkers, trenches, barbed wire and stuff. You can try it ou in skirmish or in custom MP games. Also if you play historical battles and army general youre going to do a lot of these.

I find it ironic that this game especially does not have a better than first rate flak unit. After all the HG didn't just have a battalion of flak like most panzer divisions had, the HG had an entire regiment of flak. Who designed thiis game anyway?! This alte hasen says, "Dumb move by the game's creator, designer, programmer, or whomever."
I mean the sdkfz and 88 are two solid choices, with the sdkfz being quite good. This division gets more than almost any other division
