Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS: An Introduction

Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS helps decision makers keep track of their day-to-day operations. Situational awareness is gained by monitoring activities and events, tracking field workforces, and assessing the status or performance of daily operations. In 2017, Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS has evolved to a pure web architecture, where dashboards are both authored and consumed from within a browser. This evolution comes with many improvements in layout and mapping capabilities. This session is for anyone who wants to learn about creating and configuring dashboards using a gallery of Esri-provided visualizations and tools.

I would like to build a dashboard that creates a list from a related table, from multiple inputting agencies. These agencies will be inputting over several days and some several times a day. Here is my issue, I only want to view the most recent (relevant) input from each agency. Right now all I can do is display all the inputs.. any ideas?

Is there a way to edit attributes within dashboard?

Hi Geethaka, thanks for watching. To answer your question, dashboards do not provide any sort of data editing capability. They are meant for the 'presentation' of data only.

You could edit your attributes in the arcgis online webmap that your dashboard will feed from

Hi Vinicio, thanks for watching! To answer your question, yes, it is possible to share a link to a dashboard. If the people are not part of the organization, the dashboard should be referenced via the generic www.arcgis.com domain, not the organizational domain.
