Man, I wish I had actually swung by Arena Nationala when I was in Bucharest. Incidentally I also walked by Arcul de Triumf (and you more or less can walk into the HQ of Romanian Rugby) in its past iteration, and boy it was it looking shabby.
(not so) fun fact: when the palace of the parliament was built, almost an entire neighborhood was demolished in order to make space for and coincidentally a part of the palace was built on top of a stadium, and a part of the fence of the palace is actually just the old stand of the stadium rehabilitated
We already reached our peak when Steaua won the UCL in ‘86 Reached the final in ‘89 And Romanian reached the Quarter Finals in 1994 World Cup. We won’t climb back to that level again I think
Please do a video on the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. Home to 7.3 million and most likely the greatest number of stadiums in Canada. It would be great to have a Canadian City be featured.
That one stand at Superbet Arena shares its shape, in double, with a stand at House Park in Austin, which you should include in the Stadiums of Austin despite falling below your minimum.
fcsb plays on National Arena not on Steaua Stadium, they only play there once in a while when National Arena is used for other events or they replaced the pitch, Steaua Bucharest plays on their own stadium not those fcsb clowns
@@gabrieldumitrescu5505 Wait, there are 2 Steaua Bucharest clubs in Bucharest? Why? I thought FCSB and Steaua Bucharest were the same club. This makes no sense.
@@rih2370 Steaua/FCSB has a controversial owner. Some hardcore supporters (about 400) hated him so much, that they decided to stop supporting the team. The papers from when he took over the club were dodgy, meaning that the club history prior to 1998 and the right to the Steaua name still belonged to the Ministry of Defence. Lied to by the 400 supporters, the Army re-created its Football section of the Steaua sports club and thought that they can either have great success and sell the new team for big profit (didn't happen) or that the fans will drop FCSB in their favor (didn't happen either). They are now forever stuck in the 2nd division with a massive crowd of 400 in a 30k seat stadium while FCSB was the champion last year and plays in European Competitions every year.

@@TheWideWorldofStadiums you're welcome, mate!!
A 3x3 basketball world tournament was held inside the parliament. It could be also regarded as a sports venue:)
FCSB plays also at Arena Naţională and CSA Steaua (second league) plays at... Steaua. Cotroceni is abandoned
Well, not abandoned, kept under lock and key by the National Bank, the owner.
Yeah a detailed description of the spat between FCSB's owner and Steaua Bucharest (the military) is going to take some doing on this channel.
I feel like Romania could eventually become a good football nation
Nop, is to big corruption.

Lamport Stadium for the win in that video!

I really like the Superbet Arena that is my favourite due to the weird shapes. The ruby one is pretty decent too.
On Arena Nationala plays also FCSB-(the club with the biggest audience in Romania)-formerly known as Steaua..you missed that point!
Do you want a tissue
Steaua used to have a purple kit that was one the coolest kit I ever seen

With the many Dinamos and Steauas, you've mixed up the pairing of the clubs and the stadiums 😂 It says a lot about the chaotic nature of Bucharest.
You misst a lot of stadium from rugby
Stadionul steaua play CSA steaua and rugby steaua
Și tot în același complex sunt și celelalte discipline sportive .

CSA nu detine stadionul, stai potolit soldatelule.
Those FCSB clowns are filling the Steaua Stadium, while CSA Bucharest can only manage to have 2k people in the stadium at most in a 30k seater.
