Getting Legend vibes from this which is fitting because that movie always felt like a prequel to a Zelda game, or someone wanted to make a Zelda movie but couldn't get the rights.

I think the sheer fact how well it captures the proportions, features etc. of what is considered the Western canon of beauty is the testament to just how much of this stuff floats around the net, compared to everything else.

Even if the ai was so perfect you couldn’t tell, the movie advertises itself as 1980’s when Zelda itself only released in 1986 (I think) and many of the elements in the trailer did not exist until later Zelda games. Ganondorf being a person did not exist until Ocarina of Time, 1998 (I think, I don’t know the dates off the top of my head). Also Zelda’s voice is just an ai version of the voice actress for Zelda in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom (the new games) I think.

They haven't made a live-action Zelda movie because Nintendo knows if they gave the rights to make a film that USA would destroy it. Nintendo wants an honest accurate portrayal of their IP and not injecting identity politics or any messaging into it. They want to make a story about The Legend of Zelda. Not the legend of trans Link.
Because of the old, infamous Mario Bros movie that flopped real bad. But that may change thanks to the success of the new Mario movie. I doubt it will be live action though, if it ever gets made.

I have a problem with film adaptations of books and history because "artistic license" changes all the most important things for no reason, but when it comes to Zelda, someone's going to HAVE to give it a lot of artistic license and basically reinvent the Zelda story from scratch, just borrowing elements and themes from the games. And that means a lot of people could hate it. There are some interesting film ideas I have, but I wouldn't want to touch Zelda with a 10-foot-pole. It CAN be done. But can it really? I'm not so sure.

Zelda games aren't typically heavy on plot development, they normally give a short exposition dump at the start to set up the premise followed by a whole lot of dungeon delving and puzzle solving to find a bunch of important magical macguffins, followed by a little more exposition at the end. There's not usually enough constant plot development in Zelda games to fill out a full feature length film.
I always felt that if someone is going to make an adaptation of something, the writer and director should be hardcore fans, or at least have super fans supervise the product itself, to make sure it is done properly.

Nah, AI can't do a full movie. Didn't u notice how all the clips were mostly just static with very slight movement? It can't generate actual scenes with dynamic action, and when it sometime tries, it ends up looking really bad.

Part of the reason why The Legend of Zelda exists today is because of the movie Legend. It had Mia Sara, Tom Cruise and Tim Curry. Curry was The Lord of Darkness, the villain of the movie. Cruise was Jack. If you've seen Legend, you can see some things that may have been an inspiration for what you've played in the games.
