Boot Hill, Ogallala, Nebraska

Checking out historic Boot Hill in Ogallala, Nebraska. Ogallala was the end of the Texas Trail during the cattle drive days. Many were said to have “died with their boots on” as a result of bad luck or misadventure when they finally got to Ogallala, a town wicked and wild enough to have once been called “the Gomorrah of the Plains.”
