VW Golf mk4 1998 Stock speakers with JVC KW-R400 Sound Test [4K]

In this video i tested the stock speakers in a 1998 VW Golf 4 from my father. We upgraded the stereo back in 2012 because our old JVC (the JVC KD-SH55R) did not work anymore.
Here are the settings i used for this test.
Pro EQ: Bass +06 / Mid 00 / Treble +06
LOUD turned on and VOL ADJUST on 00
I think that these speakers have a great sound considering that they are stock speakers. The treble is becoming harsh and overpowering when played at loud volumes.
If played loud enough, they distort badly, i tested them for a very long time at very loud volumes, they distorted very badly but they did not blow!

This JVC is not in our VW anymore! We saw that our local car repair shop has got a car stereo for 55€ instead of 69,99€ and we bought it as it was available. The JVC is now together with the original VW stereo and a Philips car stereo in my shelf. The model number of the new unit is "SONY DSX-A410BT" and it sounds so good. The speakers play lower,clearer and they have no distortion. New video coming... idk when...

So let me tell you more about the headunit change from the JVC KW-R400 to the SONY DSX-A410BT. Actually, the JVC clipped at high volumes, the tweeters were also distorting. The Sony has better sound and also gets louder with no distortion or clipping. The Golf 4 is rarely here so that i can't make a video of this Sony.

Hello! The VW Golf 4 is just standing there and I could do a video of the SONY but I have a problem that also led me to stop making videos! So, for now, no video about the SONY... Sorry guys....
